Gorgeous, Functional Swedish Ladder That Elevates Any Home Gym
I’ve been a certified personal trainer for over 15 years, and I can confidently say the DHT Wood Stall Bar is an outstanding piece of equipment. The craftsmanship is gorgeous—smooth wood, solid construction, and a design that looks great in any space. I have clients who proudly display it in their living rooms. I use this Swedish ladder for pull ups, which has been especially meaningful since I haven’t been able to train them consistently after having my two kids. It’s sturdy, comfortable to grip, and feels incredibly secure. It also serves as an excellent anchor for my TRX (see my TRX review for recommendations). The multiple bars make it easy to attach resistance bands at different heights, allowing for rows and other movements that improve shoulder stability, back strength, and arm strength. My daughters absolutely love climbing and playing on it. It’s helping them develop coordination, grip strength, upper‑body strength, and core strength—all while having fun. This stall bar is a beautiful, functional, and versatile addition to any home gym. Assembly & Installation Notes: After purchasing the DHT Wood Stall Bar, make sure to give yourself enough time to follow the included instructions carefully. We installed ours directly into wall studs for maximum stability. We did run into a small issue during installation because our garage has a 6" curb and we wanted the feet of the ladder flush with the floor. To solve this, we purchased a few washers to give the attachments a bit of extra length while still keeping everything safely snug to the wall. Once installed, the stall bar has been rock‑solid. As a certified personal trainer for over 15 years, I can confidently say that the DHT Wood Stall Bar Pull Up Bar Attachment is a crucial addition to the Swedish ladder. I love my DHT Swedish Ladder—see my full review for more details—but this attachment is what truly unlocks its potential for upper‑body strength training. Pull ups are one of the most effective exercises for developing the lats, rhomboids, traps, biceps, and forearms. They also help correct rounded shoulders, improve grip strength, and contribute to cardiovascular health and increased bone density. These benefits become even more important as we age. I’ve used door‑frame pull‑up bars in the past, and they’re often more trouble than they’re worth. Many don’t fit securely, and if the door frame isn’t thick enough, the bar can slip—an obvious safety concern. They’re also large and awkward to store. This attachment eliminates all of those issues. It fits the Swedish ladder perfectly, looks beautiful, and the natural wood is comfortable on the hands. I also use this pull‑up bar as an anchor point for my TRX—check out my TRX review if you’d like recommendations. One of my favorite features is that the attachment positions the TRX slightly away from the wall, which makes plank variations and other suspended movements much easier and more comfortable. It creates a cleaner angle and gives you the space you need to move properly. If you already own the DHT Swedish Ladder, this pull‑up bar attachment is absolutely worth adding. It’s sturdy, safe, beautifully made, and elevates the ladder into a full‑function pull‑up and suspension‑training station.

Nice Stall Bar!
As others have noted, this is a nice stall bar. The quality is up there. I'm glad I got it. At first, I was strongly considering the Vita Vibe Core series, but I didn't care for the way it looked. When I saw this bar, it had it going on; It's a good looking stall bar! Assembly was straight forward, however, like other users have said, you will need to supply your own hardware to fix it to a wall type. I didn't have the correct wood stud spacing, so I opted for the 2x4 and lag screws. All-total, hardware cost me $6 or so and the 2x4s were less than $15. I used 5/16 x 3.75" lag screws for the 2x4s to attached to the studs, and I used 5/16 x .75" lag screws to attached the ladder to the 2x4s. I've been all over this bar, distributing my weight in a ridiculous number of ways from right side up, to upside down, and everything in between. I'm 6'4 and I weigh roughly 197 lbs, and there's no creaking, cracking, or anything like that, it's solid! Very impressed! As for the pull-up bar, I can't really comment on it's intended full range use do to my low ceiling; I would put my head through my ceiling doing a proper pull-up. I do hang from it however, and use it for leg lifts and it handles everything I throw at it like a pro. One thing to be aware of, this bar is more of a narrow bar at 31.5" compared to other bars at 36".; This worked out great for me, as I had limited space, but the size difference has not effected my workout in anyway. I actually prefer the narrower foot print for the home gym use. Simply put, this is a great bar!!! I would gladly purchase another one if I had a need for it. @DHT, in your main image under your company name, you show the ladder not only with the pull-up bar accessory but also with the dip handles on the side. When will the dip accessory become available for sale?

Sturdy, quality, beautiful
This thing really surprised me, considering I’ve ordered a more expensive Swedish ladder and later returned it due to poor weight limits, poor quality, and subpar appeal. As soon as I opened the box, it yelled quality. Everything was packaged nicely, and the metal and wood felt firm, strong, and sturdy. The wood and black metal contrast is beautiful. I stretch and perform micro workouts on it everyday, and it handles in a stable, reliable way. I practice l-pull-ups, dragon flags, incline shoulder presses, strict muscle up training, and even handstands on it (the pull up bar prevents me from falling backwards for balance training). No wooden bars bend. No creaking. And I love it. Some feedback for improvement: it is best to get lock washers for all the hardware (not included). It doesn’t come with hardware to secure to your wall. I wish that the brackets had two holes securing them to the frame so that it is always at a right angle. Get rubber washers between the brackets and the wall studs to protect your dry wall and absorb shock/ movement. I did not like the look of the handle knobs on top and around the pull up bar, so I replaced them with flush hardware that can’t be seen (since I mounted this in my living space). The pull up bar is secure with downward force, but it does have slight rattle when you push upwards - which isn’t ideal. I placed a spacer where the metal meets the wood - though I wish the mfg would just add tapped holes there to secure against the wooden bar with additional hardware. All in all - highly recommend.

Great affordable option and well constructed
This turned out better than expected. I was researching some stall bars and typically the ones that were advertised were close to 600 and $800 so this was a nice and more affordable version. The box came well packed and everything was very carefully packed and no damages with shipping. Construction was very straightforward and took about an hour to set up. I appreciate the flexibility with the L brackets in order to be mounted on either side of the bar, which allows for some less than ideal stud spacing. All hardware is included and set up a super easy and this is a nice addition to the warm-up area of my home gym and also hopefully gives my kids something to play with. The size is relatively compact and doesn’t take too too much space and it’s about 4 inches from the wall for those who were wondering.
