Can the alarm be the radio or just buzzer?

FYI, the fact that this is an alarm clock only, with no radio, keeps the operation simple, and without tiny control buttons that require "setup calisthenics" to operate it. Non-techies like me are appreciative of that. The alarm buzzer seems loud enough, and always gets me up; if I want to have an extra 10 minutes' snooze, all I do is hit any button on the device . . . that works several times in a row.

Does the clock read the time from the power company, so you do not have to set it, except for the alarm?

No. It has a battery back-up which maintains the time and alarm settings in case of a power outage, but you have to set the correct time initially yourself But it's very easy and straightforward

PERFECT ALARM CLOCK !!!

Love, love, love this alarm clock. Set up is so easy. No more fumbling around at the back of the clock to find the alarm off button. Nice big numbers to see the time in the dark. Love the beep, beep, beep that wakes you up and it is the perfect volume. Best alarm clock I have ever had.

Great Simple Alarm Clock

Great simple alarm clock. the settings are on the front, where they should be, not on the top or back where you can't see them. Very easy to set the time. Has a 9V battery back up to save your settings in a Power Outage. The numbers are large and easy to read in the dark, but not too bright to disturb your sleep. Keeps accurate time and the alarm is loud enough to wake you, not blast you. Highly recommended.
