It is pretty quiet. I have 2 large dogs and a puppy, it works really well. Be mindful that if you are grinding a nail too long, it will get hot and the dog will feel the burn. I move between two nails to break it up so each nail doesn’t get too hot. One charge does all 3 dogs with some leftover which is great. Follow the instructions to be sure you hold it at the right angle on the toenails. Would recommend doing once a week-ish after you do it the first time. The first time will take longer than weekly maintenance. This has been a game changer!

This is a great dog, nail grinder.Lasts a good amount of time.It's soft enough that if you bump it with your finger, it doesn't seem to cause any damage. Files the dog's nails easily and smoothly without much complaint from them. My pug looks like she's getting a spa treatment, laying there snoozing while I easily grind her nails. Very low noise level while using.

Make that nail trimmer work like new again! Easy to replace

Ricky's nails have always been too long since when he showed up at our farm they were already too long. His nails are all black which makes it even more difficult to trim. I have used the LTNG several months now, I had to return the first LTNG because it wouldn't hold a charge. Getting a replacement was fast and easy. I charged the second one and I had to use it almost daily to get his nails under control. For the first time today, they are where they need to be. Have not needed to recharge it as of today 10/29/2021 I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who does not like to clip their dogs nails for fear of getting them too short. Ricky does not mind the soft noise it makes which is really nice. Causing your pet pain will keep them from wanting you to trim their nails. This is so easy. Your dog may require more training. I do use it every few days to keep the nails at the length I want them. Easier on the dog and myself. Ricky is only 20lbs so I put him on a towel on my craft table. He lays down he is so relaxed. Yep...it's great. I didn't even have to get him use to the sound. It makes the most noise when I grind, but he doesn't care. Thank you Lucky Tail for offering this product. Nails that are too long can cause your dog to have issues. So keep them short and trimmed as recommended.

UPDATE 7.13.23: Increased to 5 stars. Have been using these now for several months and they're holding the grit very well. They are worth the price. original review: The good part is they're much more abrasive than others - some brands I've used were practically worn out after one use. The head didn't stay tight in the grinder a couple times came up and could have caused a hair tangling disaster, thankfully that didn't happen. (My Lucy has hairy toes) My other issue is the price. I thought it was high at 19 and now they're 24! I marked it at a neutral 3 stars because I think 24 is just too much to pay. Now if the months go by and I'm still using the same grinding head, to be fair to the company, I will come back and up the star rating.

I have a 18 year old Hungarian Viszla. She's not as active as she used to be and the nails were getting longer and longer! And being a big dog - big nails. Well after years of trying all sorts of products I finally found something that could do her nail easily and quickly. They were so long, i only did 1 or 2 a day until they were finished - but she tolerated it fine. And they are super easy to maintain.
