5 years and going strong
its been 5 years since I purchased and I have to say, its small but it gets the job done. Very easy to set up and then fold and get it out of sight if need be. Easy to transport, however I wouldnt leave it alone, it isnt the sturdiest, and a simple push can turn it into a walking nightmare, literally. Nevertheless, I recommend it

Unexpected but pleasant surprise
A couple of small mods (to patch the side openings to restrict the air flow and secure the legs when opened) and this thing rocks. Consistent evenly distributed heat generated by natural wood charcoal lasts for about 2+hrs which is plenty enough to grill lamb/pork and beef kabobs for 15 hungry ppl. I put 10 steel skewers at a time on this grill and can do 3 courses easily. The ROI and price to value ratio is incredible; light, portable, and consistently yielding same great results easy to clean grill. Did not warp or bend, still looking good. I bought it for the season (c'mon, it's only $50) but will keep it until it lasts, I'd estimate for about 5 or more years. I grill weekly April to end of September.

compact, light, charcoal camp grill style
I love it, it functioned as expected; Its also very light; Just don't forget to removing the blue plastic on the grill; To me, its ideal for camping situation or simple charcoal cooking in patio; I cooked vegetables (asparagus, onions, paprika, okra, etc.) and was ideal for thin slices of meat (i.e. korean bbq style). I also cooked chicken, pork, steak. Since you can't pile a lot of charcoal vertically or it will thermally warp the mesh. If you want that type of a grill, go buy a smaller version of the round weber grill. I used half of the charcoal in chimney starter and once it got hot applied it to just one onside, one layer; the mesh was close enough the the charcoal to sear the meat. I seared it then shifted it away from the coal to cook it slowly.Since the grill is very light, I wouldn't let the kid(s)/pets near it or use it under high wind situation as it has possibility to tip forward or backwards if applied with some force; It did not happen to me yet and during cooking it did not tilt when trying to remove stuck meat on the mesh. The only design flaw in my opinion is the bottom area of the leg width isn't spread out enough so its like standing vertically so it has possibility to tilt with enough force applied to the side since it can be top heavy. In future I plan to either add 2x4 to extend the bottom area to stabilize the grill or remove the legs and build some blocks so place it on top to use it kind of like an open grill. It has a small bottom grate to hold the it does not have an ash collector so you would have to flip it over or tilt it to the side to remove the ash after usage.I read the low reviews; seems like a common issue with bent mesh or durability which people are having but I did not have these issues yet. I suggest to just not use it like a weber grill or any other famous brand charcoal grill with deep pocket areas for charcoal. Common sense saids don't just dump hot coal in it then expect the top wire mesh not to bend or kick around the grill. This grill is light and any abuse to it will create a dent, besides Anything will bend under hot coal in close contact to the wire mesh.I also won't recommend if your trying to use it for 8~12 hour slow cooking since you would have to replace the coal frequency; For my case half the chimney coal amount lasted me a good hour or so. enough to feed 4 with proper preparation.Enjoy if you buy it :)

Flimsly, light, thin, and insubstantial. Lacks solidity or strength; easily damaged.
This is the lowest quality product I've ever seen and would not have bought it had I seen it first. The headline says it all, almost. The vendor requires you pay to ship it back to them in Oregon. I'm on the East coast, so we'll see that hit. They did offer to give a few dollars off if I kept it. I'll update this review when I ship it.Update;"NOTE: We do not reimburse shipping costs, and COD (cash on delivery) shipments will not be accepted."was in their first email response. That's why I said what I did above.Aosom reached out a couple of times and told me the UPS label was prepaid. I did ship it back and they paid for shipping. Thanks Aosom.I'd give the vendor higher stars for their customer service, but I still don't think much of the product. (I've noticed it's available through a number of vendors, all mad in China and I'm sure just as described above.)The concept of a stainless grill was what piqued my interest to begin with.

Affordable but saggy mesh grill inserts
While I like the grill for the size, the mesh grilling inserts sag completely when you put your food on them to grill. Another drawback is that there is no carry bag, so all the parts flop around during transport. The rest of the grill performed fine, so I will keep it. I will need to make a better grill grate, and get a bag for it....but still worth the price for how we use it. To make it better, the manufacturer should make stronger grill grates and make a way to strap everything down for transport, or give it a bag.

Love it
What a cute and simple grill that I will be using as a raised fire pit and then also cooking on the coals afterwards. Love that it comes assembled except that you have to take off the blue plastic wrapping

Decent grill, but needs a cover.
This grill is easy to clean up, lightweight, and convenient to have around for those grilling days. I’ve already used it in many occasions, Fajitas, Bone in Chicken, Steaks, Sausages, Ribs, bacon wrapped jalapeños, and Burgers. The only thing that would of made this grill a Five Star for me is a cover. You need to constantly attend to the food because the fire becomes high when fat starts cooking. If you don’t, your food will be burned. Otherwise, it is pretty good for the money.
