These are easy to use. All you need to do is set the time by adjusting the individual 15 minute markers. You can customize it however you want. You can set it to be on or off multiple times per day if you want. It works really appropriately and keeps proper time, that is to say, I never had an issue with the timer being off over time. I’ve mostly used them for Christmas lights and lights on my aquarium. It’s got a streamlined look to it that is completely intuitive.

I’m giving this timer five stars for now. We’ve experienced problems with timers ceasing to work after about 10 months. If this one lets us down, I’ll update this comment. I like this one because it is small and easy to set up. The directions are written in easy to understand English (they do not read like an AI translation of a foreign language). I’m happy to buy products made in other countries but annoyed when the instructions are not complete, understandable sentences.

One timer is fine. The other has gone defective after only a couple of months. The defective timer is loud and gets hot to the touch. I do not feel safe using the defective timer. I contacted Amazon about this today, and Amazon said that because it is outside the 30 day return window that there was nothing they could do. I remember when Amazon would cover this type of thing. SMH
