Actron CP7802 Vacuum and Fuel Pressure Tester Kit

Good quality kit, well made and worked perfectly. Used for pressure testing on restoration of classic vehicle and helped tremendously in isolating problems with fuel lines and checking proper vacuum levels. A must have item, and would recommend for the Do-It-Yourselfer auto repair person. Money well spent!!!

I got this to use in a home-made vacuum chamber. It was half the cost of a similar kit at a local auto parts store. I've used it 3 or 4 times so far, and it is responsive and seems accurate. The dial is large and easy to read. The build quality is okay, but at this price point I wasn't expecting a metal housing.

Smooth operation. A bit cheap on the construction quality though. The glass rattles like a mutha.... I wish it had more attachments for various sized vacuum connection. It works well otherwise and the price cannot be beat. Hope it lasts. Seems to be well calibrated.

I purchased this for tuning my carburetor on the old shop truck. It was very simple to use and the truck is running great. The directions that came with the gauge were very clear and was able to figure out what was wrong with it very fast. I will recommend this product to others.

Nice tool, good price, works great. A very simple device but really necessary to have. This is much better made than I expected. no it isn't Snap-on grade but it also does not cost $100.

I purchased two of these gauges to synchronise the dual carbs on my kombi. I did not expect much for the price however was pleasantly surprised. They are a quality, easy to read gauge. With the aid of a couple of pairs of forceps to clamp the hose and provide damping, I was able to synchronise the carbs, kombi now runs like a charm. They would also be great for twin cylinder motorcycles such as Triumphs. A great, reasonably priced addition to the toolbox.

I bought this to check the vacuum pump on my GMC Diesel. Out of the box the meter at rest was not at zero and no way to adjust All things being relative I used the gauge On the first tests the gauge bounced around erratically;and readings were lower than expected I surmised the fittings provided were not a good size match form my vacuum hoses: & I bought some different sized barbs & tees. On the next round of tests (now with properly sized fittings) the needle was rock solid, but still lower than specification It did not take long to find crack in the hose going to the waste gate valve Nice little tool that saved me a bundle either at the shop; or in parts alone for a DYI repair It's shame about the meter off zer0 Considering that ; and had the fittings provided been more versatile, and been compatible with a greater variety of hose sizes this review would have been 5 Stars not 3

Fuel Pressure range 0-15 psi, ok for non-electric fuel pumps, but not high enough for electric fuel pumps, needs to be 0-45 psi.. or higher. Otherwise a decent value for most DIY mechanics. The primary reason for this purchase was to replace my old vacuum gauge-it worked great to diagnose a partially blocked catalytic converter.
