Pro Optics Pro-Nose Guard, Black, For Eyeglass Suspension

I don't understand the negative reviews...I think this has been a lifesaver after my Septoplasty surgery. I need readers to work on computer and read, so not wearing them is not an option since I don't wear contact lenses. The headband fits well (adjustable- I have an average/small sized head), doesn't slip down or irritate my forehead. The hook is made well and is wide enough to accommodate several styles of eyeglasses. I am very pleased with this solution! Thanks.

I wear glasses and hate the marks it leaves on my nose. I wanted something that would lift the glasses off my nose so the mark would eventually go away. The nose guard works great, it is adjustable, lightweight and holds the glasses up perfectly. It is so comfortable sometimes I forget they are on. The indentation mark on my nose are already fading. I am happy with this product.

I've been wearing this exclusively since my septorhinoplasty on 9/30/22, (and as I type this review) so about 2.5 weeks. It works pretty well at keeping my glasses off my nose, but the frames do tend to slip off the hook every once in awhile, and I wasn't happy that they kept falling on my nose bridge. Luckily it didn't cause any damage, but it did hurt, especially right after surgery. I fixed this by squeezing the two sides of the hook together, so my glasses couldn't slip off of it. I also notice that the elastic is already pretty stretched out: the tightener is now behind my right ear, although it could be loosening more because I've been wearing it straight out of the shower with damp hair. Regardless of its small flaws, I think this is a good option for limited time use and I plan on getting another one to finish out my 6-8 weeks of no glasses resting on my nose.

I was skeptical when I bought in preparation for a reconstruction nose surgery, but my doctor recommended it due to my profession requiring me to wear safety glasses daily. This thing works great, adjustable strap, so you can set it just right so it doesn’t hurt your head or cause a headache. The hook is a little flimsy, but that does help with the weight of the device. If you are looking to have a nose surgery or so ring like that, this will help keep those glasses off your nose like what is required.

I'm a computer programmer, and have to wear glasses for computing. This is problematic because glasses give me severe headaches very quickly due to my allergies. This little band comes to the rescue quite handily. Comfortable, large enough for my over-sized head (no, really. There is another similar product I tried which wouldn't let-out enough for me to wear comfortably), yet adjustable down to whatever may be needed. I'd give 5 stars but for two (related) issues: the plastic of the hook is both too broad (doesn't work with my semi-VR glasses), and too thin (has a tendency to break if I'm not careful how I take the glasses off). It would be better with a thinner, but thicker, hook. HOWEVER; the price is low enough that I'll happily buy spares.

A little uncomfortable but definitely kept my glasses off of my nose as it healed from the basil cell surgery.

This works like a charm. I have had sores on my nose (where my glasses rest on my nose). Since I started using this they have almost disappeared and it has only been less than a week.
