Easy to Use, Great Results, and Great Customer Service
As a favor to my wife, I've been trying to recondition a leather couch that has become well worn. I found this on Amazon and bought the kit. Though the instructions were clear and easy to follow, I initially had some trouble color matching the leather of my couch. On a whim, I decided to contact the company and incidentally, the owner and CEO, Steven, responded and did several custom paint mixtures to help out and see if it would produce a better match. Looking at the pictures he sent, I noticed that several of the mixtures that he tried out had colors that were not included in the kit I purchased, and when I responded, they sent me a new kit free of charge. That was definitely above and beyond what I had expected, and I am quite grateful. From my brief conversations with the company, I have learned that they are a small family-owned enterprise. Personally, I think they are well worth supporting, given their product and service, especially during times like these. I've included a photo of the preliminary results. On the left side, I used the new paints they sent me (around the piping), and the right side was original couch piping. There is clearly an improvement. I will do a little more work on this, but it seems to be off to a good start, and I certainly appreciate the company's dedicated service.

Good product
We had a 4" tear on the top of a sofa. There was plenty of product to make the repair, and with lots of colors included, potential for matching almost any color of fabric with mixing. Because of the 2-tone look of my fabric, I did have a very difficult time matching the colors and replicating the pattern of the existing fabric. And I never could get the texture to work because the edges dried quicker than the center (I was using a hair dryer to quicken the process, so probably user error. I have used similar products in the past that require a heated "tool" to imprint the texture, and for me, that worked better. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow, so any issues I had were essentially user error because I was in a hurry. I may attempt to start over in the future when I have more time and can wait for the product to dry naturally. I WILL recommend this product to others and will use it again in the future.

Great product, exceeding my expectations
I bought this product because I had some cuts and scratches on my leather sofa and it’s such an amazingly comfortable one that I didn’t want to throw away. I was pleasantly surprised how wonderful this repair turned out. The cuts were 1 inch and 2 inches, for one I used the backing material for the other I just connected the pieces together with the adhesive in place, under the hot air of the hairdryer. I used thin layers of adhesive with 15 min in between the applications until the pieces came together in a line. I applied the adhesive than used the sponge to distribute it evenly. (I also used the sponge in other different areas of the couch, where it was just worn out a bit, swiping some adhesive all over those areas with the sponge and later with some paint, to avoid future breaks). After it was all dry to the touch I went on to apply the color. I was a little stressed about getting the right color, I tried white and yellow but it was too yellowish for my cream off white couch. The yellow is very bright and even if I used a tiny bit it seemed like it was too much. Then my husband suggested we add a bit of brown to what I already had (white and bit of yellow combo) and we got the perfect match. I applied the color with the color applicator and used the sponge only around the sealed cut. I used 3 layers, with 15 min in between applications, using a hairdryer, until I could not see the line formed by the connected pieces. I tried using the leather sample included to give my repair a leather texture but I just didn’t find a use for it, maybe I did not use it right, so the next day I used the sand paper swiping it around the cut a few times and got a smooth finish. Being so happy with the results I went on and used the product to fix a vinyl mattress and a wallet, also with great results. Now I am just looking around the house to find new stuff to fix. I wish I would have bought this earlier but I never thought these things actually work. This kit is amazing and I am very happy with this purchase. This is the first product of this kind I used, I am usually good at crafting, but I also think the materials included are great to work with, there is plenty of color and I found the adhesive to be very fast drying. The only thing I didn’t use was the leather texture, but my couch looks great without it. Thank you for a great product!

Your Results May Vary
I looked at lots of repair kits and took a chance on this one. I imagine it's as good or better than most of them. But when you open the box you will likely say "I paid HOW much for THIS!" The main ingredient (filler) I'm almost certain is simply Elmer's glue. You get LOTS of little cheap scrap things (like a push pin, sandpaper, a piece of foam, small pieces of cloth, etc). The paint is probably the most expensive component, and you DO get a lot of colors (if seven is a lot) for mixing. The final results on my cracked vinyl dashboard were only so-so. Its very difficult to time the drying of the paint so that you are able to push a vinyl-like texture pattern (really just a scrap of vinyl) into the almost-dry paint. I tried several time, and ended up with something that looks better than the cracked area, but its still obvious it was an amateur patch job. PRO: I've got enough left stuff to start my own redneck upholstery repair shop!

This company is one of the best I have ever encountered in its customer support department
After 30 years of owning two original contemporary Marcel Breuer Wassily style chairs, a 5-inch wide piece of full grain leather belt supporting one of the Wassily chair backside was split open at the aluminum frame mount due to age and maintenance neglect (See photo 1). The chair was unusable as a result. I contacted a number of leather furniture repair shops but none wanted to take this on since the leather is a large piece of full grain belt leather. To save the chair my sole option is to find ways to repair the thick leather belt on my own. After toying with a number of ideas I decided to bond another piece of leather to the inner portion of the split full grain leather belt with Tear Mender adhesive to rejoin the split leather pieces into one continuous piece of leather (See photo 2). Once the bond is fully cured the full grain leather belt will support the load of the back of a person sitting on the chair. The next step is to find a leather repair kit to repair the 5-inch gap. There are a number of companies who offer leather repair kits. I came across Doctor Leather of JamPro Ltd who offers a leather repair kit with extra adhesives and extra touch up paints which I thought I would need due to the size of the repair (See photo 2). The price of the kit is competitive to others as well even with extra items. This company has supportive reviews as well. The company web site shows an informative video on what steps to take to repair damaged leather. It appears to be a company located in the States since the product description is written with proper English. I took a chance to order the kit from JamPro to complete the final repair. JamPro was highly supportive of my effort to repair the split and cracked leather belt. Emails were responded to relatively quickly, within 24 hours or sooner. When I requested for additional filler and color paint due to the larger area (See Photo 2 and 3) that I needed to repair JamPro did not hesitate to direct Amazon to send more so I could complete the repair. This company is one of the best I have ever encountered in its customer support department. I would rate this company with a 6th star if that is available. I wish all companies apply this type of customer support process to their company manual to better serve their customers. The complete repair is shown in Photo 4. My experience in using this product is that one has to have patience to layer the filler adhesive, let it dry then apply more as necessary. I find that the final touch to smooth everything out is to use one’s finger to apply the final filler adhesive, with a light swipe at places of interest. Although I was not able to match the exact shade but I am satisfied with what the repair turned out.

Great package
The kit comes with everything you need for small repairs, I did a repair on my car's leather seat, I am happy with the result! If you are DIY inclined person (I assume most people who are considering this product would be DIY inclined already), then you will love this kit. For my cracking bolsters, I’ve sanded it down a bit to get rid of all the sharp edges, then applied the adhesive to fill the cracks. I’ve done about 3 layers of the adhesive and it filled the cracks quite nicely. Then I’ve sanded it slightly before applying the colour. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the correct colour mix - it comes with a good guide line to get you started, and the seller (the business owner of the product) is very helpful and gives good advice and support. Mixing the colour seemed to discourage many people here but it was probably the most enjoyable part of the process for me - it is rather rewarding when you make the colour to your satisfaction! I was able to get the colour I wanted after about 30min of adding colours - beware that the dried colour is slightly different than the wet colour, so make sure you let it dry in hidden area or a small area first. I had to make a new colour for my second coat because my original colour that I thought was pretty good has actually turned out a bit too dark after drying. The kit comes with a small mixing pot with a cap which helps to keep the paint ready for the next coat. Each thin coat took about 10 minutes to fully dry. Make sure to lay it thin and let it dry, do several thin coats to avoid it becoming sticky and taking long time to dry. The upper area where I had some scuffs were super easy to fix – just cleaned the seat with alcohol to get rid of dirt and grease, applied the paint that was ready and job done. It literally took one minute because I already had the paint ready. Highly recommended products!

Easy to use but not durable. Ruined my seat.
I wanted to like this I really did! Initially it went on so easily. And dried super quickly. I was able to match the color exactly and while I wouldnt call it visible, it did mask the texture of cracked leather. However, 24 hours later you could already see the sun is starting to impact it. And after a week of warm summer weather, the coloring is so separated, that it looks disgusting. Honestly it looked better cracked then it goes the way I had it now. And this is Washington, I’m nothing compared to the heat this car selling Texas. So while it does work to color match and to repair it, the blue doesn’t hold very long, and the paint colors separate with even the slightest bit of warm weather. Not to mention the first time my husband sat on the Seat, the crack split right back open again. And that was after nearly 2 weeks of drying. Overall, if this is inside your house, it’s probably a good fix. Especially if whatever you’re repairing isn’t going to have a lot of rubbing against it or is only going to have a light weight on it. Otherwise, you might want to get a true repair kit with leather patches and everything.

Easy to use product with AMAZING customer service. They really back their product.
I am listing 5 stars for Customer Service and product performance up to where I am at this point. The product itself is packaged in an easy to use manner. Directions are clear and useful, as are the videos on their website. The most difficult part is getting the color to match the leather, but you'll have to do this on any repair kit. The glue that acts as a filler is easy to dispense and seems to fill tears and holes nicely. Regarding customer service, these folks have gone far above and beyond the call of duty by reaching out to me on several occasions to check on my progress and offer help on getting the color matched correctly. Their responses to my email questions have been under 24 hours, and typically in the same day. I'll come back and post more about the final product when I finish, but I did not want to wait till then to put up a review. I will say that the small tears that I have completed look great (exact color match wasn't really needed as these were on the back of an armrest that is not visible to customers in my office).

Producto eficaz y fácil se usar. Buen servicio postventa

Brilliant bit of kit.
Wife sat on a cabling needle (like a knitting needle but with a point on both ends) ouch! Now I had a big dilemma, do I show concern about her injury or worry about the hole in the cream leather sofa. Solution was easy I went onto amazon and ordered this kit for delivery the next day. When it arrived I fixed the sofa in half an hour with a perfect near invisible repair. Just in case you think I am an uncaring chauvinist pig I can assure you I am not! Before I went onto amazon I told her where she could find an Elastoplast to staunch the bleeding which if it had dripped on the carpet would have resulted in us having to get stain remover as well. No one can accuse me of being inconsiderate. As regards the kit it is far more complete than I expected and contains everything you will need to carry out minor repairs to leather upholstery including applicator tools and instructions on how to mix/blend the colour you are trying to achieve. Actually quite simple to achieve a very good result if you take your time and are patient. Would definitely recommend this kit as very good value which will get used again I am sure.

Effective with some time required
This product worked well to repair a significant crack in my cars drivers seat. The glue/ filler compound builds up over multiple layers. I used a hair dryer and applied about ten layers over a 24 hour period. Sanding back and reapplying more filler got a pretty flat surface. The paint is difficult to match exactly, but for the price my car seat looks 100% better and there was plenty of filler left over to do any future repairs. Heaps of paint too.
