Great Western Trail is a great strategy game that gives you months of fun games. 4 people/cowboy game where you heard your cattle through to the market. Improve your herd, avoid bandits, strengthen your houses and slow down your competitors! Recommend you follow youtube tutorial as rules are not ideal. For any fan of strategy board games - this is an awesome (separate game) addition to your stable of boardgames. If you are new to strategy games - this one is likely too complicated… maybe start with Agricola or Ark Nova?

Great game. There's a reason it's consistently in the top 20 on BGG. The best things about the 2nd version is the player boards have pre-cut spots for your cubes and discs.

Great game

Super fun strategy game. Best for 3 or 4 players. Box suggests 12+, but its probably better for more experienced gamers. Variety of paths for winning. Takes a couple hours for 2 players. Add an extra 30-45 min per additional player. Acceptable box organization. Higher than average learning curve, but lots of replay value to explore other strategies. Quality construction and great design.

This game arrived in perfect condition and as expected. The game itself is awesome and easily one of my favorites.

I don't see any issues with quality for this game as other reviews mentioned. I went with Sleeve Kings 56 X 87 mm sleeves and they fit perfect. For the game itself it's been fun, I've played 4 times and each was about 1-1.5 hours. Mechanics include: Placing buildings to create additional actions, hiring workers to improve your buying power, Player and Train movement, deck building, multiple paths to bonus victory points. Actions are tied to buildings and player movement, the building type and location can be randomized to make it more replayable. Although there is a lot to learn upfront, none of the mechanics are overly complicated and there is good synergy between them.

Great production ! Material is very good and well sorted into the box . We love to play the game with 1 to 3 players . Didn't try with 4 but would be to long for our taste . Takes up to 2 hours with 3 people . Hard to learn , although manual is very clear and we play a lot of heavier games. All makes sence in first round but takes time to take it all in. Great videos to find as well . Defenetly one of our most loved games and a lot of replayability . Like to get New Zealand as well but would start with this one if never played before.

Je teouve ce jeux parfait. Le prix, le contenu.. franchement, ce jeux est addictif et simple à jouer...le mode solo est un peu trop à l'avantage de l'automa mais avec de l'experience on peut battre "sam"... Bravo pour l'editeur

A huge improvement on the original in turns of production values. The board has new artwork and the game now has a solo mode. Good stuff.
