Charm
The laptop screen seems to be refurbished, but the overall condition is very good.

It doesn't work nor they're reliable. Poor handling from returning to contacting.
Worst product ever.

Be prepared to make further adjustments to the laptop yourself.
The laptop itself is decent, but the "excellent" refurbishment grade does not reflect reality. The hinges were loose, so I had to remove the bottom cover and tighten them myself—while I was at it, I also replaced the thermal paste on the processor. The battery was in terrible condition, lasting only 1.5–2 hours, so I ended up replacing that as well. Furthermore, the storage drive was SATA rather than M.2 (where was the original M.2 SSD?), and it failed completely after I encrypted the data on it, forcing me to install an M.2 SSD of my own. Think twice—or ten times—before buying this. To the seller: state the actual condition of the laptop; don’t mislead your customers.

Arrived unfunctional
Very simple refurbishment - body covered with new sticker so it looks like new, but it's not underneath. After activating Windows PC has stopped responding. Nothing helped to revive it. Had to return next next. Put additional thousand dirham and bought a new laptop. Very bad experience and not recommended.

Runs super fast. Why buy new?
What you get from this Thinkpad for only $300 is amazing! I installed Fedora Linux on it instantly, and that OS has full support for this machine. Everything is snappy, opens instantly, haven't had any slowdown. Boot time is amazing - just a handful of seconds. No problems with WiFi or multiple Bluetooth connections. The speakers are super quiet at max volume, but I don't really care about that (and that's a problem with this model of laptop itself, not the fact that it's used). The battery I got didn't have a crazy number of power cycles, and it holds its charge throughout the whole day before I need to charge again. Even if you get one with a bad battery, it's cheap enough to order a replacement one on Amazon (just look up 01AV430 or anything compatible with this specific carbon x1 Thinkpad gen 6). This is the lightest laptop I ever had, but it still feels premium. Unlike other lightweight laptops, the lid opens really easily with one hand. The laptop was in really good condition and came with the original Lenovo branded charging cable. The only problem is a single dead pixel on the screen, but I mostly forget it's there. Worth it for the price. I'll probably never buy a new laptop again. You can do everything you want to on this thing - unless it requires a graphics card. I use it for programming and I've had no issues at all. This thing was $1300 when it came out a few years ago! If you want a spare laptop, getting this is a no brainer.

Value for money deserves 10 stars
I am a Linux user and this is the best laptop I have ever had. IMHO Linux on a ThinkPad is the absolute best one can get.

Battery life
I still haven't paid my credit card for this product and the battery is dead already. Extremely disapponted. This is unacceptable

Did not last a whole year
Will not buy a renewed laptop again. This refurbished Lenovo X1 Carbon 6G purchased in April 2023 developed a bad power port after owning it for 10 months. Basically the power port on the computer stopped working and it could not be charged. (Did discovered if you manually hold the power cable at an odd angle and apply pressure, it will intermittently charge a bit, but that got old very fast) Since I purchased a 4 year Asurion warranty, I contact them for repair and they sent a prepaid shipping box which took 5 business days to arrive from UPS. Boxed the unit and dropped it off at a UPS store on a Friday. Received a notice the following Monday the repair shop had received it and needed to order a part. SEVEN days later, they send a notification that the unit cannot be repaired and offered a refund of the laptop purchase. To make matters worse, they kept the laptop, so all of my installed software and bookmarks are now gone. Luckily most of my data was backed up on OneDrive, but it still hurts losing a lot of the other information. I feel like the 4 year Asurion warranty purchased for the unit was also a waste of money. Prior to this poor repair experience, I would have given the laptop 4 stars as it performed well (with -1 stars for subpar audio speakers).
