At first, it was operating as expected. I purchased it in Dec 2023, and only used it 2 or 3 times. I charged the battery to keep it "active". I recently tried to use it again and it does not work. The power light glows and flashes continuously, like an emergency beacon. That is all that it does. That is my personal experience with this item, and my money is gone -- you might want to keep yours.

I never thought i’m going to need one of this but we have this upcoming vacation in the north this December and i decided that i might need one. Upon arrival i immediately open the box and check how it works and im pretty surprised that the scarf is really lightweight and the material is comfortble on the skin too. It has a hood that can be adjusted to fit perfectly. This is a game changer to keep you warm during outdoor without compromising your style.

This scarf is warm and keeps my neck warm during really cold weather. The hood doesn't heat up, just the scarf. It uses a rechargeable power pack that has lights so you can see how much charge is remaining. The scarf has a loop on one end where the other ends slides through. It stays in place on its own, but also has a snap to hold it together for extra security. The heating is a bit odd - has three heat settings. The first one that comes on is high heat. When you press the button again you get low heat. And pressing the button the third time gives you medium heat. This is a bit counter-intuitive as I keep wanting to press the button in order of high heat, medium heat, low heat. But I usually can't tell a lot of difference between medium and low heat when I am outside, and prefer to keep it on high heat when in use. The battery will last longer on a lower heat setting though. It has a built-in pocket for the battery pack that works well, and is hidden so you can't even see it unless examining the scarf closely. The bright indicator light on the other hand is front and center and you can't really hide that unless you wear the scarf under a coat. So be prepared to have people ask you why you have a red light (or blue or amber) on your scarf.

I'm in the cold a lot. It's pretty good. The hottest setting is indeed hot, I will say that. It's just a usb A connector so you can use other power banks. The included one is nothing special, but good to have on hand. Compact battery back. Scarf itself is soft. Moderately even heat distribution. I use it on neck and feet sometimes when I sit down. It just about circles my neck to close around my neck. Any movement loosens it. Not what could be considered for an adult.
