Stegosurus Dog Costume

So I have to admit that I am one of those dog owners that absolutely fawns over their dog (but don't we all)? Have always loved dressing her up in costumes and getting her tons of toys, so with Halloween right around the corner I decided to look for a costume for her.Came in the mail just yesterday and I put it on her to see how it looks, and it is hilarious!!! She truly looks like a dinosaur. Unlike many shirts/coats, she did not mind this outfit because it does not fully cover her body (her stomach/chest is open and secured by a velcro strap. The costume does have both arm and leg holes which didn't seem to bother her at all. I brought her out to get the mail and the greatest part of the costume is that the tail wags when she walks or runs along. My only complaint about the product is that many of the grey spikes on the back do not stand up, however I will work on unbending these as we move forward. The head piece is a little large and sometimes slides over her eyes, but otherwise looks great on her.NOTE ON SIZING: My dog is a 25 pound miniature goldendoodle, so may be taller than many similarly weighted dogs. I have learned in the past that dog clothing is often smaller than I expect so I went ahead and ordered a large (although I would never consider my dog a large dog). The front legs of the costume fit almost perfectly, maybe a little bit short, although the back legs are a little bit long, just almost dragging on the ground. This may be because the costume is a little too long for her, but I decided to stay with the large and not try the medium. My main point, sizing dogs is hard because there are 4 sizes for all the different shapes and sizes of dog breeds so don't expect a perfect fit, but if you find a decent fit you will absolutely love this outfit.

If you need to win a doggy Halloween costume contest this with surly get you first place, it sure did the trick for me lol. The body piece fit pretty well but the head piece was a bit too big, could have used a bit more Velcro to help it a bit better.

This is a very cute costume. The quality of the fabric is very good. The body part of the costume fit my dog fine (a Jack Russell mix); the legs were a touch on the long side for her, but the length was spot on, so I just rolled up the legs. Given that this costume has to go around all four legs, it's important to get then length right. The head part didn't fit as well; she has a small head compared to the length of her body, so it was just too big. The manufacturer recommends you cut holes in the head for dogs with ears that stick up; the head part does not come with holes pre-cut. The "spikes" down the back didn't stand as straight up as they do in the photo, but it was still clear what she was dressed as. The costume I received had a hole in a seam that I patched easily, but I was a little annoyed by that given the cost of the item. Overall, I recommend this costume.

So I bought this costume for my year old cat. I got her a XS and her arms can come out if she tries hard enough, but she mostly just stays still. She refuses to move with it on. She'll just slowly tip over, or sometimes she even does this weird thing where she jumps like 2 centimeters forward and plants her face on the ground.The costume is really well made and she looks adorable in it. But let's be honest here, pets and especially cats do not like clothes being put on them. Maybe if you try putting clothes on them since they were babies they'd be used to it, but it's not really their thing. Your cat may feel trapped in this costume because their entire back will be encased, along with two straps for the body and one strap for the head. It's funny to show your friends though! Every now and then I'll put it on her, and it seems like she could be ok with it eventually? Probably not, who knows.

Per the very clear pic providing sizing ... I found my dog, measured once, measured twice. I was overly confidant. Not even close to fitting! Knew the second it went on. Packed it back up, shipped it and upon receipt they gave me a lone dollar! Quoted as “used”. Of course I put it on my dog, the sizing chart says I should have zero concerns. $1.08 standard return per their policy. Ignore the sizing provided, also the breeds. Unless you want to learn their policies personally.

Bought both a Small, and a Medium, size to see which would fit my dog ROCCO - a maltese/poodle mix - the best. keep in mind, he weighs 15 lbs, and he measures 15" to the top of his front shoulders.the Small could pass, but his legs stuck out a lot, and the body of the costume fit him too snug. the head was fine.the Medium fit him better, with the legs of the costume going down to his paws. the body was a more generous fit around his back and belly. the head was fine as well. i would suggest Medium if you have a dog that is about 14" + at the shoulders.btw, it looks great on him. i suggest trying to lay it out ahead of putting it on your dog, as the spine folds over since it was packaged.thanks.

This is a cute costume, but it's impractical for adult Corgis. I have two male Pembroke Welsh Corgis, both of whom are the healthy weight (30 lbs each). Benny is longer while Stanley is stouter. The costume did not fit either properly, either at the chest or rump.Two oddities stick out the most: the back legs and head piece.1) A Corgi has short back legs, and the back legs of the costume do not allow for movement. Neither Benny nor Stanley was comfortable walking on flat ground or up and down my porch stairs. They had to waddle and mostly sat on the ground looking quite miserable.2) The picture is a Corgi in costume. That's cute but doesn't show how his ears fit. Spoiler alert: they don't. Even with the instructions (which instruct the buyer to use scissors to cut ear holes in the head) aren't clear. The head piece was too large for either of my dogs.Needless to say, I probably wouldn't purchase this product again. It's cute (and funny) but didn't fit my Corgis at all.

Cutest costume in the world! Good quality material. The costume does feet VERY small. After reading some reviews saying the same I bought a size up and I'm glad I did. I have a 9 pound chihuahua/Iggy and I purchased a medium and it fits perfectly. Its so adorable and she was walking around comfortably in it. (She is used to wearing sweaters in the winter). The legs are a little long but she's small so I folded them as seen in the pics, the cap fits big but Im going to pin it in the back to the body of the costume so it stays. I knew it would be before purchasing, also there is a way to cut ear holes if needed.Great product and just absolutely adorable !
