Some have a grinding noise but they are pretty cool for a party atmosphere. Used them for our first kareoke party and they were a great hit. Everyone ordered the same ones the day after they left. The remote is great. Much better option than the corded version because you can put these anywhere not just near an outlet. Could also use in a car or at an outdoor party where there are no plus. I’m using rechargeable batteries and they lasted the 3hours we needed and haven’t had a chance to see how many hours I could get on a set. I like we can plug into a power bank as a backup or if you forget batteries.

These little lights are pretty Amazing. I bought them for my daughter's Sweet 16 that was outdoors under a large covered patio. My plan was to designate a small dance floor and put these at the corners in the hopes they would light up where they were dancing. I ended up placing them at the opposite ends of the covered area and they literally covered the entire party area with colored lights. We used 2 with regular batteries and we used 2 with external regahrchable batteries. We had the lights going for 6 hours and there was no sign of them stopping. You are able to change the colors and brightness and even sync them to music. Considering the price you really can not go wrong. They look small but are powerful. The size is actually plus in that we are able to store them easily for future use. You can see in the photo the large coverage are with only the 4 lights.

These lights are kinda great! Easily livens up any area. Don't get me wrong, they're not a laser show, but will absolutely spice up a party atmosphere.

These little lights work really well! I've only used them with batteries in a large room at my gym (no outlets available in the room), and so far they have lasted for 6 hour-long classes! Great light variations, bright, and a good value for the cost of the lights! I rate them a 4-star only because I ordered a pack of 4, and one of them is faulty. Each light uses three three batteries, but in one light, the a battery slot has springs on both ends, so it won't hold the battery and the light can't be used.
