Spring Gardener Kitchen Waste Composter with Stakes and Cover (32in. x 32in. x 30in )

This unit is a bargain for what you get. Who wants to spend hundreds of dollars to manage a compost heap? There are four wire sides packed flat. The unit is assembled with carabiner-type fasteners that clip the edges of adjacent sides together. The trailing part of the carabiner clip does nothing, but that's okay. The unit is held to the ground with large soil staples. The top is fabric. There is no wire cover.I found the fabric top flies off in the wind. That's solved with office bulldog clips fastening the fold of the fabric to the top of the side, I used two clips on each of the front and rear edges.It is larger than most of the products designed for home gardeners, but it would be better if it were larger still. I've read that compost heaps work faster with a larger mass. Nonetheless, the vegetable matter but in there has no choice but to turn to compost.

I've had several different composters over the years. This one is the best yet and the least in cost, so far very pleased.

Easy to set up and fill. My compost is already "cooking"!
