This rice cooker is easy to use and cooks rice evenly every time. The programmable settings are convenient, and the steaming basket works well for vegetables and other foods. It's a great size for small families, easy to clean, and offers excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

I've been using a pot on the stove to make rice for years and never knew it could be this easy. I need it extra soft and mushy for someone who isn't able to chew and this cooker allows me to leave it cook for as long as I need to. I just add extra water and leave it on for 2 - 3 hours and voila - nice soft mushy rice. I've used it dozens of times and never had an issue with it. It has never burned and the extra steam is collected in a small container on the side or released through the steam valve. The only thing to remember when cleaning, is to remove the floppy part of the lid and give that a good cleaning every time. I didn't know that I needed to wash it and it got gooey and stinky in there. This is one of my favorite and most time-saving purchases.

I bought this 8-cup stainless steel rice cooker and steamer for a friend a few months ago, and it has worked amazingly well. It cooks rice perfectly without burning it, and the steaming function is super useful for making vegetables and other meals easily. It’s also very convenient and easy to use, making everyday cooking much simpler. Overall, a great purchase and definitely worth it.

I haven't had this rice cooker for a long time yet so I cannot say how well it will hold in a few months from now, that being said I can say it's a very nice rice cooker for its price. Someone mentioned the rice was sticking but I've not had this happen once. It could be user error or maybe just a defective rice cooker but mine is doing just fine. The non stick coating is working quite well. I've also not ever had any liquids spilling over and leaking from all the times I've used it so far. Yes, it is small. It's 4 cups UNCOOKED (which means it doubles to 8 cups once cooked). That being said, look at the price. You won't get a huge fancy steam cooker for that price. It is decently sized and working well for the price you pay. I'm quite happy with the purchase personally. Also, the steam basket is white. It is normal for certain foods to stain. This happens with anything you use to store or cook certain foods. I like to batch cook my food but this will not be the rice cooker for that, which is fine. I'm happy with how it's getting the job done so far.
