A book for men
MGTOW stands for Men going their own way. MGTOW is a fast growing worldwide phenomenon. It has been referred to as the modern menโs liberation movement. This book is for men and men only. It is a very detailed book. The facts and information given is on point. We all that women in our society are supposed to act a certain way. We expect a certain type of behaviour from them and create an ideal image of a perfect woman. Same problem is faced my men. We also expect them to behave in a certain way and manner. We expect a certain ideal personality. This book is just for those issues. It is a self-help book for all the men out there. It talks about all the different aspects in a manโs life. It tired to explain the MGTOW Moto and help men with regaining their masculinity. It tries to bring in problems faced by men under a spot light. This book targets young men. It speaks about relationships, love, life, finance and other major life changing topics. This book only targets men and makes it a little irrelevant to women. It might bore them. All that detailed information can get a lot. I liked it for it did deliver what it was supposed to, but it was just not it for me. I donโt like reading a lot of details, as it just gets plain boring. However, the language is very fluent and communicative. The cover is powerful.I rated this book a 2.5/5 ๐ and recommended it to you men!

MGTOW Building Wealth And Power : For Single Men Only By Tim PattenGenre : Non Fiction/ Self HelpThis book celebrates masculinity and presents you with the struggles of men in the present time, whose rights have been ignored as a cause of feminist movements. Also this tells us of the community of men who tries to navigate through the injustice and how to overcome these problems and achieve financial strength. What is MGTOW?"Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) is a fast growing, worldwide phenomenon. It has been referred to as the Modern Men's Liberation Movement, delivering men as a gender from subjugation. MGTOW is a lifestyle that frees men from patriarchal traditions regarding expectations for dating, living entanglements and marriage. It liberates me from a life of tiresome labour, waste of personal resources and costly emotional exhaustion often devoted to toxic mates, girlfriends or wives. "Review:This book was suggested by My Secret Bookshelf. As the definition of MGTOW says, it does an important job by informing the world of the various complications men are put through their lives. We all are familiar with Feminism and Women Empowerment. But we often forget the other gender, who is regarded mostly as violent and dominant. We do not get to know their side of the story. Isn't that sexism itself? This book features a community that most of us even haven't heard of. It does really show how much we stereotype "men" as a gender or a part of the society. The first half of the book discusses the serious issues of our society which in the name of trying to promote gender equality is actually being oblivious to the men's rights. The Gender Studies is a new curriculum that most of the prestigious colleges offer yet they have ignored the other half of the species. And it's not new that women taking advantage of the laws that protect them to take revenge on innocent men. This book offers ways to motivate and express yourself (men) against these injustices. This book also tells the evolution of Patriarchy and how often women blindly submits and makes them the "damsel in distress" themselves. This will all require an alpha male to the rescue, be a father, husband, brother, friend or a son. But what we haven't heard till now is the stress that is being put upon men for these roles. They sometimes are the sole providers and a lot more are being expected. It's not a problem for a girl if she cries or doesn't because she can get away with the excuse of being a women. If she cries, she is tender or if she doesn't, she is strong. But the society doesn't let men express their distress. When they do, that makes them "feminine" or "less of a man".Also haven't we ever considered verbal abuse of men by women as an abuse itself? This book will definitely make us think about these issues. The second part of the book is mostly about investments and money and how financial wellbeing can be improved for having an independent life. What I didn't like is that it touches on most of the issues of men but only discusses them to a surface level. Also some of the characteristics of MGTOW was found to be too similar to the previous one or repetitive.Otherwise it's a good book, it's well written and is relevant to a great extent. This is thought provoking and I highly recommend everyone to check this out regardless of your gender.____________________________

Interesting
MGTOW : Building wealth and power.Author Tim PattenReview: Men going their own way or as Mgtow is an incredibly well written tale written in context of single men and single men only. This book explicitly explains what Mgtow is and how single men should embrace their masculinity in a world where other issues have the spotlight.Honestly the book was not for me, but I read it because I am a curious cat.The language is flawless , lucid and plot is on point. Monetary policy ,investment in markets and where and how to invest money, was a highlight of the book for me.The only downside was when the author goes on to elaborate the risks of dating women.Single guys this book is made for youWomen DONT pick it up.3.75/5

A well written and informative book!
I found it easy to read and the author did a very good job providing an explaination about MGTOW and debunking the myths that comes along with it. The focus of this book is about self-improvement as well as self-ownership and self-perservation with the aim of encouraging as well as empowering men to re-define their self worth and identity as man by their own standards rather than following societal expectations, which is gynocentric as well as to feel good about being a man. It has chapters that provides advice on savings and investments which can be helpful for men on how to live a financially stable and independent lifestyle for themselves along with other chapters, including ones that highlight the positive qualities of men and on the risks when engaging relationships with women. A recommend book for anyone who is interested in MGTOW or issues relating to men.

Great read
The real life stories are valid and I tend to agree with what the author states. The investment strategies are interesting and the trick is to start freeing oneself from the trap of commitment to being a provider, if you are not overcommitted already.

Very informative.
Tim patten did a very good job explaining Mgtow. He talks about how to save money, invest in the stock market and relationship with women. Tim get me a lot to think about, especially dating women with children and having children I cannot afford because statistics shows that a child cost 300,000 and that doesn't include college. The girl who cried rape chapter very informative because it shows you how women will say you rape them, to get revenge on you just because they open their legs and got dupe. There is another chapter called Nickolas get lucky that I also liked but will not tell you how it played out, you have to read it yourself. I think every man should read this book.

Some interesting points.
Good points about MGTOW and why it might make sense for some people. I feel that readers should also read up on neomasculinity and MRA to get a sufficiently balanced view of things though. The bit on investing seemed a bit disconnected and not quite sufficiently in depth all at once. Perhaps a investment book aimed at a similar market is called for.
