This saved me time & money case I was able to use this attachment with an extension pole to spray primer on a metal porch roof without the use of staging or the need to hire a contractor. Just make sure the spray nozzle is lined up with the hole and you're good to go. It's just a matter of finding your grip on the pole and having the string at the right length so you can easily spray and control the pole at the same time. After I was done and the primer was dry, I used an extension pole with a paint roller to finish the porch roof.

This is a great product! I used it to spray pruning seal on a 100 year old oak tree that I had pruned. Very simple and accurate. I didn’t use any more pruning spray than if I’d been doing it from the ground. The string and spool are very strong. Easy to use! Faster and safer than a ladder.

Very first pull the string broke inside the unit. Had to remove the tape and screws to reattach (hard to get to compared to other devices). The opening provides limited delivery of product - most spray goes into barrel. There is a permanent upward angle on the device which doesn’t allow to spray square to branch so the spray gets everywhere - mostly inside unit. (Need to allow vertical adjustment). It comes with an extra spray nozzle but it’s worthless since it requires a male stem on the can and none of the sprays have that (they come w a stem on the nozzle). Unit looks nice but not very functional. I ordered another model that is completely open on the front.

Works as advertised. I only wish the string that engages the spray can was a little thicker. It feels like I could snap the line when I pulled, but it is advertised as high tensile strength. It would also been nice to have a clip that attached the line to the base of the pole . Usually I have the pole in a horizontal position so if I drop the line it swings away from the pole forcing me to position the pole in a vertical position so I can grab the line again.The attachment mechanism for the spray can seems pretty crude. They use a rubber O-ring to grip the spray can. It works well, but the question is how long will the rubber O-ring stand up to time. Also I wouldn't be using it with large heavy spray cans.

I use this for hard to reach wasp nests. The problem is not all types of spray cans work in this system, so it’s a guess to find the right brand. Also when I try to use this on a very long pole it becomes hard to use the trigger mechanism and to keep the can pointed in the right direction.

We had a freeze that caused a lot of tree damage. We had to spray all the cuts on the oaks because of oak wilt. We did buy the 30’ pole from the same company worked great. The spray attachment was wonderful.

This sprayer attachment worked great for treating cuts from pruning our live oak tree. The cuts have to be treated to prevent oak wilt. I was able to easily direct and control the spray from the ground with this attachment and an extension pole.
