Are the handles very slender and hard to hold?

The handles are a slender, copper sheath that the rods move freely inside. Easy to hold with hands relaxed and slightly open with the weight of the handles resting on the pillow palm of your hands. Good, free response of the rods. Size easy to carry and store. Bigger is not always better with these rods. I use them in historic cemeteries to find the magnetic field of disturbed earth, indicating a grave. Then probe for fallen and buried headstones to reset. Works beautifully.

What gauge are the copper rods?

The rods are NOT copper. They are cheap brass. Only the handle is copper.

I like that these are smooth and the rods don’t get hung up and stuck like some other ones. It took a bit for my energy to connect with these, but I’m starting to really like them. Good quality and sturdy. I would recommend and if they don’t work for you at first, give them time to adjust to your energy and frequency.
