SCHLAGELock Company Camelot Single Cylinder Handleset and Right Hand Flair Lever, Antique Brass (F60 CAM 609 FLA RH)

This was a replacement set for a low grade non-standard handle set. We had to drill a new bottom hole and bondo the old hole. But that was fine. I love my new set. We changed all the door handles in the house to Schlage.

Bought this to swap out an existing older Schlage handle set to better coordinate with our fixtures and sconces. Love the matte black color, really sets off our red door.Relatively easy install with only a little previous experience taking the old one off. Brought the deadbolt to a local locksmith to rekey before hand. (Cheaper than calling them out for a service call…) Highly recommend.

Installed alright, but the latch got stuck almost every time. I think the spindle cylinder that holds the latch doesn't sit perfectly straight in the door, and that angle causes it to get stuck before even reaching the strike plate. I've shifted it around twice and it improved a little, but I feel like the design is lacking.

VERY HAPPY with this door handle/lock set. Had to order thru Amazon bec the big box stores didn't carry this product at all. I feel SO HAPPY every time I use the front and back door. It's great quality, beautiful design and works effortlessly. Hubby had very easy install. I wish we would have replaced the old ones MUCH sooner!!

I finally bit the bullet and replaced a probably cheap door handle with this kit. It has made a world of a difference. You don't need to have a working and sophisticated knowledge of quantum mechanics to open the door! Maybe that says more about our old door handle...Point is, this mechanism is smooth as butter, looks amazing, and you will not regret it. Unless a hard to use door handle is part of your anti-theft strategy, then carry on looking for some other product.

Absolutely loved the color and look of this lockset. Was all set to install it. Removed the old lockset and had the new handle installed. Problem arose with the deadbolt lock. One of the bolt holes wasn't tapped deeply enough so that the bolt would seat properly. One can see in the pictures the difference in lengths. Both bolts worked in one of the holes, so it wasn't the threads on the bolts. Anyway, took everything down and reinstalled the old lockset. A manufacturing defect of course, so I can't rate this poorly, just got a lemon and I can't make lemonade out of it, so back it goes to Amazon. If it had worked out I would have had a 4 star lock set that was fairly priced. Hopefully yours will work out better than mine did.

Beautiful finish but unfortunately is just did not fit my door. Looks to be very well made.

Far superior to the Weiser unit it replaced.
