I brought this arm sling after suffering from a frozen shoulder, and I needed to mobilize my arm. i bought one from a local store but it did not support my arm. I purchased this one from Amazon. The quality and the material were great. It gave a lot of support to my arm and shoulder. The extra padding around the strap helped prevent the strap from digging into my skin. The material was sturdy and comfortable, and not flimsy. It had a thumb holder to help support your arm. My frozen shoulder was able to heal in less time than expected thanks to this well-made arm sling with extra shoulder padding support. I definitely recommend this product. The price was good, the quality was great, and it came quickly in a new box. So, if you are looking for a good arm sling to support your arm wrist, or shoulder, choose this product. for quick healing, and support for your arm. I was impressed at the quality the arm sling was made from. I returned the one I bought from my local pharmacy, and this arm sling became my everyday arm sling. I've had this for a month and am using it for a fractured wrist with arm in cast. Even though the straps adjust front and back, the part where your elbow goes is pretty deep, and I couldn't get comfortable wearing it at first. Then I had the idea to put a folded up cashmere scarf in the elbow area, and then this sling fit like a dream and is super comfortable. The scarf is like a pillow for my elbow, which makes it even better. I'm giving this 5 stars because it's very well made, can be adjustable, and the shoulder strap part is very comfortable and padded. It's not hot in warm weather, and the material feels fine on skin; there are no itchy parts. For fit reference, I'm 5'9, 135 lb, and I have thin, long limbs. I do not think this would work for petite people because the length from elbow to thumb end is not adjustable. If you have short arms, your hand will be lost inside it, which is not good health wise.

Great sling for the price. Very comfortable, but could use some rubberized material built into the portion that goes across the shoulder. It tends to move a little and change the angle of your forearm some, which is also rotating the shoulder, defeating the purpose of a sling. It's very slight, but the material it slick enough that with certain clothing like a wicking tshirt with a smooth finish I find it shifting across the top of my shoulder unless I can mentally stop myself from any movement of the arm. Perhaps with time, since I've never worn a sling before, I can make myself hold the arm perfectly still. For now I think I'll add a few strips of gun grip tape or something to the padded portion that sits atop my shoulder.

I am pre-surgery with left rotator cuff damage and am in a fair amount of pain without the use of a sling. I am very pleased with the quality and comfort of this sling. For the price, especially! I find it breathable, soft, and supportive. The neck strap has a great cushion. There are some reviews that mention the strap being rough - the rough side goes on the outside, not against your neck. The inside mesh pockets are a nice touch, but just a wee bit too small for my android phone. The straps are easy to adjust for a great fit. This was a great purchase for me.

Purchased this for my husband who shattered his left humerus ball, dislocated the shoulder, and had a fracture straight through the bone under the ball. This was purchased for the period about 6 weeks after the initial injury. Would not recommend for those first few weeks with this severe type of injury. The strap is comfortable but the sling itself made his stomach/chest area sweat a lot, it soaked his shirt and T-shirt. The sling sleeve itself has a seam that made an indentation in the swelling and stopped circulation so we put a towel in the bottom under his arm. We did not realize it had the seam as there is a pocket for a cell phone. Would not have bought it because he needs a one piece, smooth sling. Wish someone would make a sling that was ALL COTTON, smooth, not bulky, and with as comfortable a strap. Generally, he said it is comfortable except for the indentation and the sweating because of the material. It would be a good sling for someone who does not have such a severe injury and severe swelling.

The sling they gave me at the ER was very cheap.. dug into my neck and it broke.. meaning the material on the sling got so worn so quickly that it doesn't fasten anymore. First day wearing it and can't say I could complain since this is a HUGE upgrade in comfort and quality! Thank you! Update: I found the shoulder padding to be a tad uncomfortable since it digs into my neck when I'm laying down so I will be going to auto zone soon to buy extra padding like the reviewer (great idea btw thank you for sharing) below me did since surgery will keep me using this for a while but besides that it feels durable, soft, and it keeps me feeling secured!

I used this sling after having had carpal tunnel release surgeries. It was particularly helpful in the first week after each of my surgeries to help keep my hand elevated, and to apply ice packs and keep them in place while I did other things. While I hope I won’t need it again, I’m hanging onto it just in case. It’s the most comfortable sling I’ve ever used!

Fortunately I didn't need to wear this sling more than 10 days after my shoulder surgery because I hated it. I found it to have several issues that made it uncomfortable/useless for me: One, the mesh material on the strap is VERY scratchy on the side and irritated my neck - I had to wrap a washcloth around it to even be able to wear the sling. Two - this thing is huge and probably better suited to a man. I am 5' 7" and even with both sides of the strap adjusted to the shortest positions it hung too low to support my elbow, so it wasn't really doing what it's supposed to do, which is take the weight off your shoulder! I thought I was doing something wrong so I asked my physical therapist to help me adjust it and find a way for it to be comfortable. After fiddling with it he too realized it was just way too big and would never work for me. He also told me the angle that the strap sits is wrong and will never hold your arm in the best angle. Three - the material does not breathe and it made my arm sweaty - again I had to use a washcloth to line it so I wouldn't feel so hot in it. Would never recommend this sling!

Bough it for my partner as advised by the doctor after his hand surgery. It was mainly used for travelling and outside making sure the hand is rested and elevated so it doesn't get too swollen. It did the job brilliantly and it's quite well made and comfortable for the price.

I recommend this product, arrived quickly, product exactly like description; after trying 3-4 other slings from various sellers, I decided to keep this one. It fits well, the sling length is expandable around the moveable cushion to position behind your neck is great!
