These eggs are, simply put, lovely. They would make for a perfect, yet inexpensive, gift. The craftsmanship is quite nice. I have bought several. This one is delightful as the egg opens to reveal a Russian crown that you can remove and enjoy. The crown also opens to hide a small trinket inside. The entire egg is made of enameled metal and feels sturdy, well made, and heavy. The crown stays in place by a small magnet. Delightful.

I get the female members of my family 'faberge 'eggs every easter. It's hard remembering who got what but this was a hit 10/10

Great gift for my wife

Rich red 'starburst' enamelling pattern between the gold 'webbing' on the exterior, adorable little crown inside with a 'secret' hiding place of its own. Upon closer examination the egg does not close tightly (there's a 'gap' down the side), the finial on top of the crown is slightly crooked & the crystals on front & back of the crown are not uniformly placed. I still like it & will be happy to display it; it is after all, just a 'representation' of the 'real thing'.
