I want to make trousers from this - is the material at all see-through?

Not really heavy enough for trousers. More blouse weight. And your knickers would probably show 🤭

Would this be suitable for neck gaitors/snoods?

Basically No..... This is cotton fabric as used for bed sheets Ideal for face masks; fitted or pleated, but for snoods etc you would need a jersey type fabric that stretches .

Would this fabric be ok for curtains making?

It is not the thickest of fabric so unless you are going to line the curtains they would be very light and not really black out the light.

Would this be suitable to do dressmaking?

Yes, it’s very suitable in my opinion, for dressmaking. Hot wash fabric before cutting; it does shrink a bit; & colour bleeds a little. I made a blouse with gathered shoulder peplum sleeves, black calico fabric, better quality than I expected, gathers beautifully. Didn’t have the strange weave patterns that some plain calico has - it’s smooth & flat . Does fade a little, but excellent value for money. I wouldn’t mix it with a light coloured fabric within the same garment, because of dye seepage.
