They work well. So here's the scoop, and some advice for those who don't have the patience to make it work. Firstly, I noticed many have left negative reviews due to printer issues, etc. Sometimes to make something work, it requires diligence, dedication, and initiative. Yes, that can take you all day sometimes. But hard work pays off. Some one's lack of computers skills shouldn't make for a negative review on perfectly good labels. After 4 hours of design work and research, I made flawless labels for my new skin care line. Attached photos to show off my work. Advice to shorten your learning curve: There are bundles of way to troubleshoot compatibility issues, use the countless software options from the manufacturer website. You may design your labels with Photoshop, word, or the free AVERY software. I chose Photoshop by using a free BLANK template provided by the AVERY website so I could design my own (thanks Avery!). Not a big fan of pre-made templates. You can optionally rotate these labels and design them horizontally, such as I did so they would fit. Use a test sheet on REGULAR paper first to check that all is lining up. If it isn't, Avery allows you to 'shift' by millimeters on their print page until you can it exactly right according to your printer. Avery provides all the tools you need to get this perfect, you just have to have the patience and put in the effort to get it right. I've been growing my own peppers and making my own fermented hot sauce for a few years now. I finally decided to step up my game and make my own labels. These labels are sturdy, the sheets feed easily into the printer with no miss-feeds (at least in my printer) and the finished product looks great. The labels are easy to write on and they are moisture resistant. The only caution I will offer is that you should print a couple of test runs on regular paper first that you can then hold up against a sheet of these labels against a bright light and see if they line up right. That way you can make changes on the layout before you waste label sheets on misprints.

My husband makes wine. I like to drink wine. These labels clearly and effectively tell me what's inside the bottle...Temperanillo, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir...Chardonnay, Pinot Gris... They tell me what date it was made, the name of hubby's private label, and even has room for a snappy picture/logo. Or you can leave it plain and scribble whatever you want to on it, which is handy for small test batches. They don't peel off or seem flimsy at all. When it's time to gather up the empty bottles and soak off the labels so we can refill them with more wine, the labels come right off. Get some!

I purchased these labels to use on bottles of prickly pear syrup I made for Christmas gifts. I was able to very easily design my own unique label with a photo of our landscape from which I had picked the prickly pears, and included a Christmas greeting on the label. The colors printed out nicely and we received numerous compliments on the presentation. Our intent was to reuse the bottles that we didn't give away, once we had emptied them. When I went to wash them, I wondered how difficult it was going to be to remove the labels... Soaked them for a few minutes, peeled back an edge of the label, and then easily removed the whole thing in one piece with no adhesive residue behind! OMG! Now I love them even more! I have since purchased a larger size of the same style for use on 750 ml bottles (the first were used on skinny 375 ml bottles). We decided to make wine with some of our leftover prickly pear juice and are now moving into hard cider and other homemade wines. I will definitely be purchasing more of these labels and have passed on the good info to other friends who are making wine at home.

These are lovely little arched label. There's a light texture but nothing especially prominent. I went to Avery.com and typed in the product number (22809) and, after using starting templates for inspiration, wound up creating some awesome beer labels. I did waste a sheet thinking the font would be big enough (attached picture is for the "before final editing" stage) and everything printed a bit dark, but individual printer color issues are to be expected. Avery requires you to create an account but to me that's not a huge deal. It will also automatically transfer your design(s) to other Avery products with you doing basically nothing besides some re-aligning, if you like. There are only 2 issues I had with this product - (1) It's a little small. But that's my mistake for not reading the dimensions carefully (or, rather, reading them without using my brain correctly) (2) I had to load the paper upside down for it to print on the sticker side. I.e. where it has arrows and says "Feed Paper" on the side with the stickers, I had to flip it upside down. Didn't ruin the sheet though, just ran it through the printer the other way. Definitely do a test print on normal paper first!

I bought these for personalizing my senior citizen cousin’s spices in her kitchen. She recently ordered 16oz containers- but they sent small chalkboard labels. Her favorite color is purple, so I decided to add a little graphic flair to her labels, used a 20pt font and it worked out great! She is so happy 😀

I use these to label homebrew beer bottles. Easy to put on, and still big enough to put a simple design and text. Stays on when the label gets wet.

I purchased these labels for plastic spray bottles I bought on Amazon (reviewed separately). You can download an Avery template and print your own messages to these labels using a laser printer, however, I did not have MS Word on my home PC so, this was not a viable option for me. Instead, I simply applied them to the spray bottles and wrote my own messages on the labels. These labels have worked very well for me in the capacity that I described above and I am confident my laser printer would have printed to them just fine if I had had the proper software.

Great for wine bottle labels. Also really please with their removability once it's time to refill the bottles. This isn't to say they peel ahead of time though, even when chilled! Great quality product

These labels are next level! I used them for wedding guest gifts, diffuser bottles, and they are the perfect matte! They printed extremely well on my inkjet, and there was no running or smudging at all. Loved them so much, I bought more!!!

These labels were just what we needed to make our wine bottles. We used the labels to mark a specific event and the quality and fell of the material really helped the bottles stand out. Printing was super easy and worked without issue. I would recommend these labels for anyone interested in making their own unique labels.
