Works for HP pavilion
I have nothing but good things to say about this pen. I don't have the best hand -writing but the write to text works wonders, I wrote this review with the pen. I am a college with little to no motivation to write notes from lectures. But now with this pen, I can just annotate lectures. If you're as lazy as me, I would tell you to invest in this pen, you get to be eco friendly for just €25. Life is a gamble, and I think you should bet all you have on this pen (no l am not a marketing student, and yes I know this was an amazing pitch and no, I won't switch courses.) I don't know why you're still reading this long ass review, go buy the pen already!! (you can thank me for being the catalyst to you getting your degree)

Exactly what I needed.
So this came as per delivery estimate. I am really impressed, the pen worked immediately with my HP Envy x360. No driver installation or anything. The precision is really impressive - I am an illustrator, and being able to rough out and sketch on the go is really useful for me. Also really good for note taking and converting to text. The price was my only issue as I had one from HP at £30 on order - but they kept putting back the delivery estimate. I got fed up waiting and ordered from here. Still a lot cheaper than £100 for a MS Surface Pen.

Useful pen to have
I got this pen honestly was expecting it to not work with my older HP Envy convertible, but I was pleasantly surprised. It works well, it's not pressure sensitive, but it's a handy thing to have if you want to jot down notes. It also works with Adobe photoshop. The only issue I have is when my hand makes contact with the screen at the same time as the pen, but I'm sure there is a way to change settings for Windows ink. Overall a good buy. 👍

Very good for the one year it worked
It was a really smooth, comfortable pen. I bought it in Jan 2022 but the next year March 2023, the pen stopped working. At first it wouldn't work sporadically, and then it just eventually stopped working completely. I bought new batteries but they didn't work, I'm not sure why. I just missed the one year warranty period unfortunately. I have bought a new pen since then from a different company, which is less smooth, but much cheaper. If it's only going to work for 1 year or so, I wouldn't spend that much in it. Other than that, amazing quality :)

This active stylus pen is NOT compatible with HP Pavilion laptops nor any HP laptops for that matter
I'm sure this pen is marvellous when it works but unfortunately I found it is not compatible with my HP Pavilion 15 Touchscreen Laptop. I launched an investigation into the matter and it turns out this pen is only compatible with touchscreen tablets, according to the HP Support website and respective HP Store. A further warning to those in possession of a HP Pavilion 15 Touchscreen Laptop (quite the mouthful, I know): it seems there is no active stylus pen out there compatible with this particular product. A bit odd considering it's a touchscreen, right? I suppose the industrious peeps at HP thought making this laptop with a touchscreen as a mere gimmick to entice unwitting idiots like myself, like a magpie to a soiled piece of tinfoil. In any case the laptop itself is brill' - the lack of supporting accessories notwithstanding. Hence the overall 1 star rating. That's for you HP, no the product in question *shakes fists in angst*.

Very good overall
Writing ability works well with HP Pavilion x360 i3 core 8th gen.Cons:* writing slow using the windows pen protocol causes jagged lines, due to the pen interface trying to figure out where the pen is on the screen. This is not evident when writing or drawing at a standard pace, only when really slow movement of pen is used does this problem occur.* Traction on the screen could be a bit better, however the coating on the laptop itself prevents any friction - due to it being so shiny. I miss the traction on the samsung note, this is another minor issue that could be solved by the developers adding a small rubber coating to the tip (in future).Pros:Overall generally great pressure detection, good for writing on screen or highliting.

Works with hp envy x360
Was bought a hp envy x360 and was told that if I wanted to buy a pen for it, I'd need to pay about £100+, so I thought I'd look to see if there are any others (genuine ones not 'alternatives'), only to come across this. After reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try and I must say, I'm very impressed. It works perfectly. There are two buttons on the side of the pen, which I don't really know what they do because there isn't anything in the user manual/instruction booklet, but doesn't interfere with what I'll use it for. Would definitely recommend, can't fault it!

You’re better off buying like new
Buying this used like new was a risk but for the price it was offering what could go wrong and all I can say is wow. It was the best decision I took. The pen was more or less brand new. I think the only reason it said that it was like new was the packaging was destroyed. Other than that it works perfectly with my HP ENVY x360 13 which it didn’t say on the Amazon page but it does support it. Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother buying brand new
