I bought this for an old keyboard. It fits and works, but doesn’t lock into the port like it should.

I bought this as a backup to the OEM power adapter for my Casio Privia PX300 keyboard. I wanted to have a backup, as I use the keyboard for live performances with my band. Although the description here on Amazon says it works for the Casio PX300, I found that it's not quite the right connector. Rather than return the power adapter to Amazon, I followed the advice to contact the manufacturer T-Power directly. I filled out a form on their support web site with a clear explanation of my issue, including photos. There was no response. I moved on with life. Flash forward about a year, and the OEM adapter finally failed...at a show last weekend. This was so frustrating, since I had anticipated such a scenario and tried to mitigate the risk. So I dug out the one I had purchased for backup and this time called the manufacturer. I had to leave a voice message. In two days they have not called me back! I am very disappointed by this manufacturer. I question whether they ever respond to anyone's inquiries. I can't be without a power adapter for the keyboard, so I ordered a different one from Amazon and another different one from eBay. My hope is that at least one arrives before my next performance and that they both work so that I have a backup.
