Works great. We live in a house with two disabled people. There is a light scent and we never have to worry about fires like we had to in the past. The remote works and makes it easy to manage how long it is on. There is a button for four hours and one for eight. You can dim or brighten your candles. It is not a huge difference but its good enough for us. It's also a pretty decoration on a bulky old fashion heater we could do nothing with. Thanks for the product.To all buyers, each candle takes 2AA batteries, not included. So if you are looking into this, remember the batteries.

I love that the flame looks real ... and don't have to worry about fire. Also cost effective :) Although I do use these to compliment the real candles I use for my meditation time in the mornings :)

I love these candles! They give a beautiful ambiance and are warm and inviting! I bought rechargeable batteries! They last about three months, without charging, using them for 4 hours a day.

Large pillar candles that look like real candles and smells like vanilla. They are too dim. I wish LEDs were brighter AND save on energy.

I wanted some decorative ambiance for my newly "zen-like" space used for yoga/meditation. I've used real candles in the past, but one left soot up the wall and I had to repaint (!), so real candles are off the table now! These battery operated candles are perfect. They are lightweight, have two brightness settings, have a timer, and a slight vanilla scent. (Everyone wrote about the vanilla scent in their reviews and I thought "meh, it's probably pretty mild" - but honestly my entire space smelled vanilla-y for several days. It's totally calmed down and isn't as noticeable now, but if you're sensitive to smell, consider letting them air out somewhere else before moving to the new location. Each takes 2 AA batteries, 6 total, so make sure you pick up some batteries - they're not included.(Note: I looked for the same ones to buy at a popular craft store in the area, and they retailed for $40 - with no vanilla scent - and even with their 50% off coupon, the set here on Amazon was a MUCH better deal.)

These are wonderful! Looks like real candles! I have them in my newborn daughter's room for soft lightening and they are very relaxing. The remote has a Day and night setting as well as just a plain light setting and candle setting. Soft scent of vanilla but not overpowering at all.
