Hi is this good for thick curly hair? I want to straighten it without it curling at the ends, will it help?

Yes I think it will help thick hair. It texturizes by softening your hair without leaving it oily. If you straighten apply a little once you are done - it takes away the dry look..this has been my experience after I iron my hair straight. Hope this helps..
