Excellent filtration for fine well water sediment!We use this 1-micron filter as the first line of defense for our whole-house well water system, and it has worked wonders. It does an incredible job capturing ultra-fine silt, sand, and rust that our old 5-micron filters missed. Our water looks crystal clear, and our downstream appliances are fully protected from sediment buildup. It is easy to install, fits perfectly in our 20-inch Big Blue housing, and lasts about 4 to 6 months before needing a swap. Highly recommended for anyone battling fine well debris

Very good 1 micron filter.
I was actually impressed by the way it cleans the water for my saltwater fish bait tanks. I'm pulling water right out of the bay and it is very clear. There are smaller microorganisms in the sea but this filter cut my water changing in half. Now I have to wait and see how many cleanings I can get before it clogs.

I have a very old well that supplies our house. The water company gave me a 20 micron filter which works ok but I tried this 1 micron one and I am impressed. I didn’t lose much if any water pressure. It captures the dirt and sediment that gets pumped in from our ground well. I change them out about every 90 days and sometimes I might have to change more often if they are covered in sediment more then other times. Amazing price especially if you get the 8pack. I’m staying with this brand and micron as long as I live in this house

A very necessary product which I use as a pre-filter for my carbon block filter s.
These filters are great. I would definitely buy them again..!! I use them as a pre-filter before 5 micron carbon block filters that remove taste and odor issues from my well water. Hard to believe that for many years we had no filters on our well water at all, which I do not recommend.....
