Great super bright light , BUT be very wary when charging , it will ONLY charge using the provided white cable , NOT a usb C which also fits in the socket, it looks like usb but isn't usb c . I was thinking it was broken as it failed to work on the 3rd attempt just got a led flash after holding the button then noticed the charge led wasn't coming on either , dug out the original cable , hey presto working again.

This strobe light is a worthwhile purchase for any drone pilot who needs reliable visibility or FAA‑compliant lighting. With the FAA increasing enforcement efforts, having a bright, dependable strobe is no longer optional — it’s part of responsible flight operations. The LED output is exceptionally strong, to the point that direct viewing can cause eye discomfort. In practical use, the visibility is excellent and easily meets the needs of recreational and Part 107 pilots flying in mixed environments. The mounting system uses a mushroom‑style plastic fastener rather than traditional Velcro. It locks securely, stays low‑profile, and is nearly invisible when the strobe isn’t attached. It adds minimal weight and does not interfere with flight performance. I primarily use the white strobe mode. Living near an international airport and within helicopter flight paths, white provides the best visibility at altitude. While green is commonly recommended, white has proven more effective in my specific airspace. Charging is quick, but I strongly recommend avoiding fast PD chargers. A slower 1A USB charge keeps the battery cooler and extends long‑term health. I also avoid storing it fully charged or fully depleted; topping it off shortly before flying has produced the best results. I initially questioned the appearance and even returned a bulkier enclosed competitor before trying this model. For pilots capturing photos or video, mounting strobes on every arm may introduce unwanted light artifacts.
