A good first keyboard if you're starting, non hotswap. (Read the review to it's entirety)
it's pretty EASY TO CUSTOMIZE AND MOD, I've bandaid and tape modded the keyboard. would've loved to be able to swap the switches for it but it ISNT HOTSWAPPABLE.EDIT : Found out today that the original AJAZZ ak33 has a blue or black pcb, which allows it to be customized on the ajazz app, but if you have a orange pcb you wont be able to use the app and im not sure if theres an alternative app, but its really no biggie as there is so many customizations already planted on the keyboard.Looks : it has a sleek look, I love how the metal combines with the glossy plastic, and it is like smoothened on the front back and sides, great looks. bottom is not that great as its just glossy plastic but you won't be looking at the bottom when using it. ALTHOUGH PLASTIC ITS STILL VERY STURDY AND HAS GOOD BUILD QUALITY, I tried bending it with all the force I have, doesnt budge.RGB : If you're into rgb there's soo many modes, From static rgb to a "ripple" effect where when you press a key it makes a wave on the keyboard, to where the full keyboard has different colors and they move. if you want to dig deeper into rgb I suggest just going to youtube and watching the reviews, there's like more than 10 if I'm not mistaken.Switches: the switches are "Zorro Black Switches" (A clone of cherry mx) they're still pretty good and they don't feel incredibly heavy, unless you're 4 years old you won't get fatigued from the black switches.Software : it's very easy to find, and the website and software itself feels sketchy and sometimes have English and sometimes what I'm assuming is chinese, but from my knowledge YOU DO NOT NEED THE SOFTWARE, if you need to remap the keys I'd strongly recommend a third party app like "SharpKeys"misc. : Cable feels decent, it's pretty long and you can just simply replace it if you don't like it. Keycaps are good and have a closer to normal font, but instead of using O or 0 they use ( ) which is something that catches the eye. the multiple function keycaps rgb on the second place (for example F1 ->F12 don't have rgb) I'm pretty sure they just printed the secondary on. I do wish sometimes on the space bar instead of adding they're brand name to it, to just leave it blank. leaving it blank makes it look so much better instead of a big "AJAZZ" on the top right of the space bar. the keycaps have a great feeling to the fingers on them, I'm not sure how to explain it but it's pretty common on every keyboard TBH.keyboard came with a keycap puller.too long ; didn't read:Easy to customize and modnot hot swappablesleek but glossy plastic lookGood build quality (full force twisting it an it wont bend)switches are clones of Cherry Mx but work the same way, I bought the blacks and got the blacks. not fatiguing to the fingers unless you're 4 years old.RGB : Bright and good, multiple modes (watch YouTube reviews if you want to know more)

Almost perfect
You know what you're signing up for when getting the blue switches so I have no complaints about that. The RGB is really nice and has lots of options but what ruins it is the shell of the keyboard doesn't really cover the parts on the side which isn't very clear on the pictures but if u are gaming or doing anything on it you do not notice. I've heard people complain about it not being wireless it who really cares. You don't move your keyboard around like your mouse so it doesn't matter.Perfect keyboard otherwise

8/10 would recommend
I have been using this keyboard for a while now and it's perfect, and the only downside I could think of is the USB mini A, had it had a type C, it would have been a perfect 10/10-it's easy to clean-impossible to flex-easy to disassemble

Good value for its price but not without issues
Firstly the pros: It's cheap for what is a really well built mechanical keyboard. Comes with full RGB and also has a USB C port for power. Buttons are clicky and very responsive despite the price and the small size means it can fit even on small desks. Keycaps can be removed and exchanged if needed too. Build is also very solid with little to no flex. Now for the cons: Doesn't come with a wrist rest. The RGB while customizable doesn't come with a software to tune it. If you're looking to sync your lighting with other devices then looks elsewhere as this can allow for it but doing so is a lengthy and tiresome process of trial and error. The deck on which the keys and switches rest is this weird material with a finish I am not a fan of. Lack of wireless support considering the interior has space for a battery and receiverOverall very solid keyboard for those looking for something budget that is of good quality for the price. I'd buy a wireless version of this if they sold it and would also appreciate a software to tune the RGB lighting as doing it on the keyboard manually is rather annoying

Very good keyboard BUT...
Don't buy blue switches, it's very loud. I stopped using it after two weeks because I couldn't take it anymore

Pretty good
The keyboard looks good, just look up the size and the switches before you buy (lots of YT videos about this keyboard). Feels well built, keys feel smooth and light. Uses a USB-C (!) connection, and has a USB-C cable in the package. Keycap remover and a small brush are also included. Has a lot of preset RGB as well.Overall, pretty nice keyboard. The keycaps just have a slight gamer-y theme which I don't mind, you might. If it's your first mechanical (was my first), you might take some time getting used to it but I think it's worth the change. I got mine for 120 AED. ****Not a 5 star because I haven't tried other keyboards.****

Not the prettiest but functionally unbeatable at this price
As a mechanical keyboard this has everything that I need. The red switches feel amazing and I've had no issues with typing or gaming with the keyboard so far. I can't tell the difference between the Ajazz switches and ones made by Cherry. One minor detail I was pleasantly surprised with was how quiet the space bar was straight out of the box. It has some grease in the stabilizer which makes it less noisy. Compared to a Logitech G610 keyboard which had no grease at all(making it terribly loud), it really adds even more value to the Ajazz which is a steal at this price point anyways. I also added rubber dampeners to the keycaps which made the keyboard feel even better. One important thing to note about this particular model is that the key layout is actually different than in the product picture, which is a really important thing to some of us. The layout in the product image is ANSI and the actual layout is ISO. Compared to the ANSI layout the ISO has a two row high and one row wide enter key and a one row wide left shift key. This adds a symbol key next to the Z key and the symbols keys are arranged a bit differently around the enter. The ISO layout is usually harder to find on these cheaper keyboards, so anyone who is specifically interested in an affordable compact tenkeyless keyboard with the ISO layout, this is a very nice option.Of course, not everything is perfect with this keyboard, so I'll list here all the negatives. Most of the bad things are visual and have nothing to do with the functionality of the keyboard, so anyone who doesn't care about the looks and just wants a functional keyboard, no need to read further. The first negative can somewhat affect the usability of the keyboard, but not in a significant way. What I'm talking about is the software that you can download from the Ajazz website. With it you can adjust the keyboards polling rate, change the lighting modes and colors and record custom macros. The software is really buggy and some of the features like for example the custom profiles, don't even work. I have no way of testing if the polling rate actually affects anything, but from what I've read it makes hardly any difference anyways, so I wouldn't recommend anyone to even bother installing the software. The lighting modes can be adjusted straight from the keyboard with the function keys so you don't even need the software for that. I didn't test the macro feature because I have no use for it, so I'm not sure if it is functional or not. Like I said, you don't really need the software to get the most out of this keyboard. While the LED's might be RGB you can't really adjust the colors freely. There are something like ten predefined colors programmed into the keyboards memory and you can cycle between them. I think the colors include red, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, pink, cyan and a really terrible white that is a little bit too pink to actually call real white. There is no way to adjust the individual amount of each of the three main colors of the LED's. A function that would've been fantastic, but might be impossible to achieve without adding too much extra cost. Even though there's a software option to choose any color from a color wheel, it does not actually adjust the color. Even manually typing a value of pure red for example, might actually make the LED's go blue instead. I found out that you can cycle through the predefined colors by choosing only the red value from zero to ten. After ten, the colors just cycle over in the same order. Adjusting green or blue does nothing, because this keyboard does not have proper RGB controller logic programmed into it. Also if you try to adjust the colors of the individual keys, you'll quickly realize that since this keyboards ISO layout does not match the keyboard pictured in the software, you can't adjust the keys that are missing from the ANSI layout.I'm not sure if it's caused by the keycaps or the actual LED's, but if you choose a mix of multiple colors and look at the keys while moving your eyes rapidly you can actually individually distinguish the different colors. If you ask me, this effect looks really irritating, which is why I only use either red, green or blue backlight modes. I have no experience with high end RGB keyboards so I don't know if this is a problem with them as well. If not, the RGB feature on this particular keyboard is not really that impressive, so if that matters to you, look elsewhere. If however it's mainly caused by the keycaps and the way the light shines through them, you might be able fix this issue. That brings me to the keycaps which might have a slight problem if you ever need to replace them. I'm not an expert on keycaps, but I think you could technically replace the default caps with anything Cherry compatible caps, as the switches are just copies of real Cherry switches. However, the escape, delete, right shift and arrow keys are to my understanding custom sized, so finding similar replacement caps for those might be difficult. I tried switching them for default sized caps, but the way the actual switches are aligned, it made the keyboard look a bit wonky. I haven't really tried finding similar sized caps online, which there might be, which would make this issue non existent. Just do your research if you're planning on getting replacement caps. The finishing on the aluminium plate was a bit rough on the edges. There was no sharp edges or anything like that, just a bit of slag left over from when it was milled. I fixed this issue by removing the housing and carefully hand filing the edges to a nice shine that better matches the chamfer on the top edge. Suffice to say this has nothing to do with the functionality and some might not even notice it, but it is very easy to fix. While I had the housing removed I had a look at the PCB and while I was not shocked to find some messy soldering, it is a good place to start looking if you ever have issues with the keyboard. As messy as the PCB looks, I've yet had any problems with the keyboard, so I wouldn't be that concerned with the quality of the soldering.Overall this keyboard is hard to beat at this price if the only thing you really care about is the functionality. If you want a stunningly beautiful RGB mechanical tenkeyless keyboard, look elsewhere and be prepared to pay top dollar for that.+ The red switches feel great and are practically indistinguishable from real Cherry switches.+ The space bar is quiet due to the grease added to the stabilizer.+ The ISO layout is hard to find with cheaper keyboards, but this one has it.+ Typing and gaming feels amazing if you prefer linear switches that are easy to actuate.+ The tenkeyless layout makes this keyboard very compact, which leaves room for a bigger mouse mat.+ Has some media keys that can be accessed with the function key.+ No software required to adjust LED colors and effects.+ Keycaps can be swapped with any Cherry compatible caps+ Incredibly affordable for a mechanical keyboard.- The optional software is buggy and almost unusable with some of the functions not working at all.- No real RGB color adjustment, just about ten predefined colors.- Mixed colors might be irritating to look at which might just be caused by the original keycaps- No pure white color option.- Some keycaps are custom sized so finding replacements might be difficult.- Slight roughness on the finishing due to cost saving. Easy to fix.- Messy soldering which might cause problems if you're really unlucky. Highly unlikely that it will though.

Great for regular typing; can't comment on gaming since I don't game.
I didn't rate for gaming, since I don't game. I bought this for regular typing, for which it works well. I like that the lights can dim or be turned off entirely. At the dimmest setting, they are pretty & shine through the keycap if I need to heck which key is which, without being distracting. I use the steady light setting, since I would find lights moving around all the time to be annoying. I got blue switches, which are nice & clicky, just what I wanted to rep lace an otherwise-nice but too-wide keyboard. This one gives me room for the mouse on the side without messing my back up with the stretch. I also tried an even-narrower keyboard, which also worked fine & had a nice clickiness, but decided I needed the key-placement layout of this board more than I needed a slightly narrower one with a key-placement that didn't work the way I do.

A FANTASTIC value! (black switches)
BLACK LINEAR SWITCH STYLEI bought this keyboard after I became sick of using a full size layout, and wanted to save some desk space. The keyboard to be replaced: a full size big brand mechanical keyboard. After receiving this keyboard, my first impressions were very positive. It was well packaged, on time, and without damage. In the pictures, I have added my own keycaps which do not come with this keyboard. The layout is great, although it should be mentioned (illustrated in attached pictures), there are specific keys that will NOT be compatible with a STANDARD replacement set of keycaps. Those keys: (left side): Esc, Delete, and (right side): Control, Shift, End, and the 4 arrow keys. The esc and delete keys are normally the size of one normal key, or "1u"--on this keyboard, they are the size of two normal keys, or "2u". The up, down, left, right, and end keys are normally 1u, on this keyboard they are 1.25u (or the size of control, windows, or alt keys). The right control key is normally 1.25u, here it is 1u. Last but not least---the WEIRD shift key. It is normally 2.27u, but here it is much smaller at 1.25u. Are you confused yet?! I couldn't find this information anywhere before I ordered it, so there you go if you are curious. If you buy a standard keycap set to replace the shiny ABS black plastic keycaps this comes with, you will have to buy a set and then extra blank keycaps that match the row of the one you'd like to replace. Ex: if I wanted to replace the right side control key, I would have to buy a blank keycap of "R1" aka the bottom row.The only other complaint that I have: the bottom of the case, even though it has "rubber" feet is still very slippery on my wooden desk. Surprisingly enough, a bit of saran-wrap did the trick and now it doesn't go anywhere. The LEDs are just plain fantastic. Since the manual (at least the one that came with my keyboard) is not in English, I looked up a tutorial online and easily found out how to cycle through them all. Holding Function + F8 will change the pattern---breathing, static, etc. Function + right or left arrow will change the color. Function + up or down arrow will adjust the brightness of the LED's. It's very easy. I didn't install any additional software, and haven't found a reason to so far.The black switches are very nice. I prefer them greatly over the standard "clicky" mechanical switch that's typically used for gaming. The difference is: there is no tactical "bump" or audible "click". The "bump" happens when the key actuates when you press the key. Instead, the black switches are linear--they are smooth, not nearly as noisy, and are very comfortable to type on. However, this is very much a personal preference, and you should consider what's best for you. For example, the blue switches will annoy your coworkers as they are quite loud, so do NOT buy that style to bring to the office. And with that--I think that's it! I really love this keyboard and may purchase another to take with me along with my laptop. It's small enough for travel which is greatly appreciated. You truly cannot buy another keyboard with the RGB features and build quality for a better price elsewhere. If you were on the fence and about to buy a keyboard from whatever major brand at 3-4 times the cost---I would greatly suggest you buy this one instead. I don't miss the numpad enough to go back to a fullsize keyboard.

Great keyboard! Software hard to find.
So my old keyboard bit the dust and I decided to get the same one again, it turns out it's a newer revision, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My new review is below, and the old review below that.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am very satisfied with my new Keyboard. This is my second Ajazz keyboard and it is a very good product. My old keyboard was damaged by liquid so I needed a replacement. I looked around at other keyboards and brands but decided to go with the same model from Ajazz, I was very happy with it before.I noticed that the keyboard I received is slightly different than my old one, like a newer revision. I'll go over the differences:First, the usb port is now USB C instead of the old USB Mini on the old keyboard. I like this because I have several USB C ports unused on my motherboard and so far only use them for my VR headset and a USB hub. This will allow me to free up one of my standard USB ports for other devices so I'm glad for it.Second, I noticed the top row of keys is somewhat lower than the rest of the keys. I'm not sure why this design choice was made, and I'm not sure how I fell about it.It doesn't detract from the capability or performance of the keyboard, and it doesn't look bad or anything, just a bit odd.Next, the font on the keys is different. I like the new font more, it seems more "Gamer" than the old font.Lastly, the physical construction seems to be about the same, a metal striker/backplate and plastic shell for a base. The height adjustment legs only have one setting but seem sturdy, although I don't use them. The software is a bit better than the old version. It is still a bit cumbersome to navigate the website (in English) to find the software, but the software works much more smoothly when customizing the keyboard lighting and even has a few new animation profiles.Overall I'm very satisfied with my new Keyboard, for the price you just can't get better than this. It does pretty much everything a Razer ten-key-less would and cost about half as much. I will probably stick with Ajazz for my next keyboard as well.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have never been so impressed with a keyboard. The keys are great, no wobble, very sturdy. The spacebar doesn't quite have as much "click" as the other keys, but its really a non issue. Packaging is great, very nicely packaged and the box looks cool. The software, unfortunately, does not come with the keyboard. It is possible to accomplish the same thing with keyboard macro/shortcuts, but its very time consuming to set individual key colors. The website is in chinese, and the english site just leads to a 404 error. To get the software I actually had to go through several forum threads on different sites to find a link to the software in someones drop box.Overall I am very satisfied with the keyboard, especially considering the price.
