Good for fine strands of hair
Love this hair mask. I have medium density (so total amount of hair) and very fine individual strands. My hair can get quite dry in winter and I like a heavy deep conditioner but they can tend to sit on top of my hair rather than penetrating. This one is amazing and my favorite. I do not like the Amika mask- makes my hair feel greasy.

Nice, but not a noticeable texture difference
I replaced conditioner with this hair mask (using both weighs down my low porosity hair) and there wasn’t a stark contrast from before and after. I usually air-dry my hair, and using this mask has made my frizz go down by a lot. It also made my waves more defined. The hydration aspect seems there, but I don’t get much of the shine and softness.

SO AMAZING, WILL BE REPURCHASING
I bought the small size to start out with, and I absolutely love it!!! The scent is spa-like, I apply it after I shampoo my hair, and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, and then rinse it in, and then go in with conditioner. When I tell you, it leaves my thick hair SO SOFT, and this is my first time trying a moisture mask and it does what it is supposed to do. Now, I am going to buy the monsoon shampoo and conditioner from DAE! I love it, this is a must buy if your hair is lacking moisture and gets oily and greasy fast.

Thick texture makes it difficult to run through hair
I love the effect of this mask on my hair as it adds moisture and smoothness, but getting throughout my entire hair is difficult as the mask is super thick. It isn’t the easiest thing to apply but the smell and softness of my hair makes up for it! I’m torn between loving this and wanting to try another one for a thinner application.

I’ve used nothing but Dae products since the brand came out and have used this mask as a conditioner ever since the deep conditioner stopped being offered in the XXL size. This smells so good and helps maintain healthy, beautiful hair. Best part is that it’s vegan and cruelty free!!
