AQree MC-G01 Maintenance Box Tank Compatible Ink Cartridge for MAXIFY GX6050 GX7050 GX6040 GX7040

This is a reusable component in my Canon printer but cheaper than the Canon one. I will definitely buy this brand again.

I've had many unhappy experiences with Chinese substitutes for technical products, and so feel obliged to report that this one is proving very satisfactory.When one buys an expensive Canon MAXIFY printer (perhaps on the recommendation of Which magazine), one doesn't realise that the manufacturer not only charges you for putting ink into the printer but also charges you for taking it out again: the euphemistically named 'maintenance cartridge' is a box that collects the ink that is wasted in cleaning print heads etc. To add insult to injury, the official Canon product was 'out of stock' for several weeks (a situation that would be disastrous for a small business reliant on this printer).This Chinese substitute is very slightly cheaper than the official Canon product. It was shipped promptly by air from China, well packaged. It arrived with a plastic glove for handling the old cartridge. It was accompanied by a clear, comprehensive, well-illustrated, and rather charming, set of instructions. And (so far) we have had no trouble.

My printer indicated that the ink box was almost full but I had difficulties finding a replacement locally, so I am glad that I came across this source on Amazon. They arrived within a few days, the items were well packaged. Highly recommended.

At a time when the genuine Cannon products are out of stock with no clear date when there will become available, this is a great product to ensure my printer continues to operate.
