私が購入し、使用するひとのもとへ送ってもらうという形の注文をしました。届いた方から、脚元部分の側面に目立つ傷がある、と連絡があったのが返品期限の前日。発送もとごアメリカで到着から返品期間が短いものでした。その方は初めてステンドグラスのティファニーランプのシェードを製作しフロアスタンドにしたいどの要望だったので、これを選び、その方の自宅へ配送してもらうとなったのですが、返品の仕方なども知らなかったため慌てたとのこと。また、注文主の私への事前連絡よりもかなり早い配送となったので、私も当人に指示出来ず、結局、傷はあるけれど使用するとの連絡があり、購入となりました。配送業者には連絡し、私の確認はしてもらって、配送業者も自分たちの責任の傷ではなく、商品元々の傷であるとの確認はしたとのことで、アメリカでの納品梱包の雑さに、気分の悪い買い物となりました。
