I like these pens. Be aware that they are bold point. The larger the point tip, the longer it takes for the ink to dry when using on glossy writing paper. They are serving my writing needs just, but are generally a larger point tip (1.0) than I normally use.

I freakin love these pens! I need them in more colors. I go thru pens at work so fast! I thought these would run out sooner being so bold but nope! Still going strong. Ink dries quickly too.

These are my new favorite pen! Glides across the paper and the color matches the outside of the pen.

I really like the refills in these pens. They write quite smoothly and reliably, no skipping and no hard starts. I’m surprised by the fact that many users of Pilot retractable pens (whether they are the G2 or Precise RT models) don’t realize that they are refillable. They tend to discard of the entire pen once the ink runs out. I use these pens simply for the refills. Sadly, purchasing these pens is often less expensive than buying the refills separately; especially with the V10. There was a time refills were much less expensive than purchasing the entire pen itself. This provided not only an obvious cost saving, but also an incentive to minimize waste. It virtually eliminated the need to discard a perfectly good pen to purchase a new one simply because the ink ran out. I found over the years, that these refills fit pens that are made by other manufacturers. The original refills that came with their pens left much desired. Replacing them with Pilot Precise V10 RT refills made nice pens, extraordinary. Once in a while, there can be oozing of ink from the point of the pen. I think this is from a combination of gravity and heat expansion due to body heat from the pen being in your pocket for long periods of time, especially in the summer. This is unlikely to be an issue with capped pens since the refill would point upwards when the pen is pocketed. These are good reliable pens on their own. They become even more valuable since the refills they contain can be used in a variety of other pens.
