my ways on my first time using of unflavored whey protein
i brought this last December7,2025 on my first test of half spoon in 150ml of water exactly no test by next day i trying to mix in low calorie soya milk no flavor same amount of water on my first test, on 3rd trial i mix in 1cup of water melon in half spoon unflavored whey protein so i like the taste, the taste is organic its from natural fruits, i am sure it is good for banana shake with fresh milk but i can not do this cause i have allergy in dairy. before i forget the last tips i use half spoon because this is my first time using of whey protein. buying of unflavored whey protein powder you must make your own flavored

This is a sleeper amongst protein powders. You cannot beat the price for grass-fed whey isolate. Best of all it only has 5 ingredients! No gums or 27 letter long emulsifiers. And it is sweetened with stevia leaf, so no sugar alcohols that are going to make you run to the bathroom or artificial sweeteners that are doing who knows what to your body. It also mixes extremely easily and tastes good. It is isolate, so it is easy on the stomach. I have never had any kind of stomach upset with it. I have ordered both the chocolate and the vanilla multiple times. The chocolate tastes like old school chocolate milk. Not overly chocolatey, but just enough to have that nostalgic chocolate milk taste. The vanilla is good by itself, but I like it best for throwing in the blender with a frozen banana and some frozen blueberries. Add a little plain greek yogurt to that and it is an incredible post workout shake or a really nice quick breakfast shake. I should also mention that it is third party tested which is a big deal in today's exercise supplement market. I have tried virtual every available whey isolate that doesn't use artificial sweeteners and a bunch of weird ingredients. Some of which cost double what this protein costs. I keep coming back to this one. It is clean, tastes good and just flat out does what it is supposed to do.

excellent, love the vanilla, tried all flavors and to me vanilla is the best by a long shot. I wanted to try the strawberry flavor but it doesn't come in grass fed version. grass fed is the only one i'll buy because the regular non grass fed version has sucralose and other bad stuff in it. make sure it is grass fed, and i highly suggest vanilla. I like to blend with spring water, fruit like strawberries or blueberries and 2 raw organic eggs. or sometimes no fruit or eggs, i change it up. also excellent with a banana mixed in. makes it go down fast and super smooth.

I’m really impressed with the Nutricost Grass-Fed Whey Isolate in the chocolate flavor. The ingredient list is clean, which is exactly what I look for in a daily protein. No junk, no artificial weirdness, and it’s gluten-free and non-GMO — big plus for me. The flavor is really solid for an isolate. It’s not overly sweet, and it doesn’t have that chalky or chemical taste you get from a lot of proteins. It mixes easily in water or milk with no clumps, and the texture stays smooth even when shaken, not blended. It’s also light on the stomach, which is something I need in a whey isolate. No bloating, no heaviness, just a clean protein that gets the job done. If you want a high-quality grass-fed isolate that tastes great and mixes perfectly, this is a great option. I’d definitely buy it again.

The flavor has been changed. I've bought this product for years, and the flavor had never changed before, but the most recent batch I bought tastes different; like it has a slightly "fruity" flavor in it. The ingredients list graphic is different from before. Although the ingredients listed are the same, there is the ambiguous category "Natural Flavors" which doesn't specify what the natural flavors are. It must be in here that the new flavor was added. Nutricost has been a very good brand in my experience, but I won't be buying this particular product in the future unless I'm desperate, because I don't want my chocolate protein to taste like fruit; nor do I want to wonder what unusual and unspecified chemical I'm ingesting.

We have been looking for a protein powder drink that didn't have tons of chemicals and questionable ingredients. We found Nutricost and thought we would give it a try. We got the unflavored. Normally protein drinks taste like cardboard, of course I really don't know what cardboard tastes like, but Nutricost is actually not bad. There is no sugar or sugar substitute in it so there actually is no taste at all. You could put a splash of vanilla if you are making a smoothie, but probably not necessary. We like it as it has 30 grams of grass-fed whey protein and is non-GMO and gluten free.
