Look great!
Purchased with slight anxiety due to other reviews but I am so pleased! I have paid a ridiculous amount for these at funfairs before but never again will now! Yes they come looking suspiciously small and misshapen first but following the instructions soon has them looking beautifully inflated and round. I have added a bit of sellotape to hold the balloons to the holders just because I couldn't get the hang of tying them on and also had to stick the battery packs together a bit as the cover was loose on a couple but I am very pleased overall and have recommended them to afamily member for an upcoming wedding.

Could not put them together
The concept is lovely and the lights also looked lovely. I really think kids would love them. However, there are a lot of parts to put together so it’s very time consuming. The balloon pump broke after inflating three balloons and I could not, for the life of me get the lights around the balloons. The glue dots are absolutely zero help as they do not stick, the lights just fell off and I couldn’t get the balloon properly attached to the stick. Everything just kept falling apart. They would never hold up under the pressure of a kid playing with them. Couldn’t use them. Now thinking of something I can do with 10 strings of battery operated fairy lights as that is effectively what I’ve bought.

Massive hassle but well worth the effort
I work in the party industry so am familiar with inflating awkward balloons and these are awkward - put them on a newspaper on a radiator (not too hot) for a few minutes to soften the rubber a bit. You WILL need a pump and the right sort of pump, luckily one was included. Getting enough air in ther balloons is tough, you have to pump very hard as some escapes from the wide bottoms. We managed about 12-15 inches & none of ours burst. I wouldn't have tried to fill more than that & they look good that size. Feeding the lights through the tubes is easy, although we had to push a hole through some of our connectors with a screwdriver as they hadn't been punctured. Attatching the lights is a bit of a nightmare, the glue dots are worse than useless, give up and use sellotape, when the lights are on you won't see it. Don't drop the battery packs! They are made of cheap plastic & they will shatter. One of ours shattered (still useable but a bit sharp) and one didn't work. Twist the ends of the ballons tightly before you knot & attatch them to the top connector and wrap therm round with sellotape to stop extra air escaping. Make sure you fold over the spare wire at the end of each light string & tape it, it is sharp & could puncture the balloons. This also means the balloons should not be given to small kids unsupervised. Once you've got the hang of the system it's not too hard. Remember you'll also need two AA batteries for each balloon's battery pack: we chose Duracell because we wanted bright long lasting lights, you could use cheaper ones but this is another expense to consider. Overall they worked for us - look how great they look in the picture! - but I can see that someone who didn't know what they were doing would have a nightmare getting it all sorted! I wouldn't say it was a bargain, but they do look beautiful. It took us, 2 adults, close to an hour to do seven balloons: if we did it again we'd probably be quicker. If the manufacturers were clearer about the work that goes into assembly, customers would be more prepared. Having said that they seem great & I'm very happy - parrty is in the morning so I hope none of them deflate overnight. I would probably buy this product again. EDIT: balloons still staying up beautifully 48 hours later, & my daughter was really happy to be able to keep the strings of fairy lights.

Make sure you read the description. They are exactly as described.
These balloons are great quality. Stretch them a number of times and they can be blown up to 20" big. Sellotape needs to be used to hold the LED string in place. Some people complained about the difficulty setting up on other similar products. However, we didn't have trouble getting them ready. Take note that the description does say there are 10 LED string sets and 15 balloons, so you will only have 10 complete light up balloons and 5 spare ones.I pointed that out to the seller and trying to get some extra LED strings. They are kind enough to send us extras for free! All in all, the children at our party were happy to take them home and we are very impress with the product and customer service. Highly recommended!

Light up balloons
They look amazing and add a real sparkle to the room, but half went down during the day, not easy to maintain

Not as good as I had hoped
The balloons were all lopsided, I followed the instructions to the letter but the seem was off centre every time. I would say the lights aren’t really long enough to go round the balloon enough times. It’s my first time trying them and they are quite fiddly, especially the glue spots which stick to everything else but the balloon. Also each set of led lights requires two AA batteries so that’s 20 batteries to add to the overall cost. They still look pretty in the dark though so two stars from me.

Fiddly to put together but great staying power
These balloons are still inflated 2 months later. They were fiddly to blow up and wrap the LEDs round but once assembled they lasted and lasted. Bear in mind each balloon requires 2 AA batteries so make sure you budget this into your costings

Not round
So these were meant to be round. They were like a flame shape when inflated and didn’t really stay inflated. Among the other balloons (normal shape) looked stupid. The tubes are a great idea but I’m reality are worthless there is nothing to keep them stood up just a tube no base. Wasted my money on these. I never write bad reviews but I got two packs of these and feel cheated. Only thing I could use was the lights to make my own light up balloons.
