I am a short person with very little torso room to give up for a baby, which means at 20 weeks I am already pretty big. I’m experiencing a lot of lower back and hip pain, which my chiropractor and doctor said is because I got so big so fast. My chiropractor recommended a maternity belt, but advised against the adjustable ones as most people wear them too tight.Depending on the brand, I either wear a M or L in maternity pants, so after reading the reviews I purchased a medium. There is good support on my hips, however I was hoping to have more stomach support. I feel some relief on my lower back, but more relief on my hips.My only real complaint is the top goes all the way to the bottom of my bra, so sitting causes some rolling/bunching. I expect this to go away as my stomach gets bigger.

This item turned out better than expected specially since the reviews really helped me choose the right size (M). I was between size 8 - 10 pre pregnancy (10 for comfortable loose fits and 8 for a more smart/snug fit) . Height 5 ft 4 inches and weighing 64 kgs. Bottom heavy , small waist. Due to certain fertility treatments i gained 10 kgs right off the bat and then another 8 during my pregnancy so currently weigh around 80 kgs. Didnt wanna buy anything too tight that affects ciculation but also didnt want anything too loose . M was the perfect size for me . Its like someone gently hugging you and holding up your belly for a gentle support all the while taking the pressure off your back muscles. So far so good.Have not tried to hold up any of my pre pregnancy clothes yet as i almost immediately bought new clothes as soon as the old ones stopped fitting me so cannot comment on that yet. But i do have a few old jeans that i might wanna try on with this band.Overall im happy with the quality and would advise people to go thru reviews and comments carefully to get the right size. I didnt need to.size up or size down ...just followed the manufacturers sizing guide and user comments

The quality is very good, the fabric is thick and sturdy, the fit is good, no rolling or bunching. For some reason I expected a relief for back pain, but dont feel any. This might be more effective for more heavily pregnant bellies when it will fit tighter. I'm 20wks with my 4th baby and it does nothing for me. If you have a lot of lower back and hip pain be sure to try an SI belt instead, or in addition to this one. Its made well so I'm keeping it just in case it may help in those last months.

What a life change. So comfortable and high quality. I used to have so much trouble keeping my scrub pants up at work ever since my belly started getting big😅 this solves the the problem and provides so much support, I'm 39 weeks now, been wearing it since 28 weeks, feels so good on my tummy. Bought more as gifts. Highly recommended👍🏼

Bought this as I was 22 weeks with my third child and already feeling ligament pain from chasing the other two around! THis is very supportive and I definitely notice the difference at the end of the day when I wear it or not. Thin enough to be comfortable under T-shirt’s yet supportive enough hat you can feel your belly drop when take it off. Bought medium and I was M/L size 8/10 pre-pregnancy

Bought this after a close friend recommended I use this for a little added belly support, and boy am I glad I did!!! I typically wear under-shirts (tanks) under tops anyway but this just made me feel more supported and secure.

Not just for maternity wear....Surgeon recommended these bands for post abdominal surgery and back support vs standard medical binder. Ordered one size smaller than pant size. Love them...please make them available in white too.
