Finally a step for a good price
We added Level-Up to our 5th wheel and that means sometimes the steps are too high off the ground. We looked around for a step but found they were up near $100 in price. This step is a fraction of that price. We were worried that this step might be "cheap," especially since by buying online we couldn't feel it in advance. But we were happy to find that this is a good quality step. PROS: - Strong (we've had up to 300 pound people on it) - Folds flat (easy to store) - Sure footing (even in the rain) - Long lasting (we've had it for 8 months, 60+ nights camping and still it looks & feels new) - Excellent price CONS: - Only one height - Not good on inclines (need wood blocks on one side sometimes) - Be careful when closing (pinch points when folding legs) - Rough edges in places (might need some deburring the first time) The pros outweigh the cons at this price and the pros make it good enough for us. We are now going to buy a second one for the other set of steps on the rig. We highly recommend this product!

Great Motor Home Step
The electric steps on my Motor home have failed. I am using these until I can repair them. These steps are sturdy and the perfect height for my 34 foot Winnebago Adventurer. Some have complained about there being a danger of pinching yourself if you are not careful. A door will take your finger off if you are not careful. I have seen it happen. Yet, we all have doors in our homes and on our cars. Buy these fantastic folding steps, be careful folding the legs. You WILL NOT regret the purchase. By the way, Camping World's SALE PRICE is DOUBLE Amazons regular price.

Makes it easier to get in and out of our RV
When our RV sits on a hill the door and steps sometimes are much higher than we like. It's either have a level RV or have steps that are close enough to the ground to get in comfortably. This RV step makes it easier to get into the RV when the steps are higher than we like. It folds, is light enough to store easily, but is sturdy enough to feel safe when stepping on it. I would have given it a 5 star rating except for the concern about the step rolling away from the RV if it's used on a hill. The folding legs are only slightly wider than the platform. In some situations, it could roll over if it's sitting on an incline. I plan to mount a piece of steel bar to the bottom of the folding legs to prevent this from happening, but if Camco had made them slightly wider, they would be fine.

The perfect step for me
I used this for awhile on my motorhome because where I parked, the last step was a little too high. Not so high that a whole 'nother step was needed though, and that's where this fit in. It's a little taller than half a step. It's built very sturdy and it didn't rust out in the rain over the last year or so. Now I'm parked in a place where I don't need it so I use it now as a TV stand on top of a folding table. It holds it easily and the receiver fits perfectly under it. :-)

I hate it too!
I put this folding step in my garage where it will stay until I get rid of it. It was described as being 7" high. It isn't. It is 9" high. Too high for me since I am only 5'. It is also not very sturdy. I wouldn't trust standing on it. The legs feel as though they are bending because they move. It's scary. I didn't send it back only because it would probably cost more for the shipping to return it then it is worth. This is the first item I have bought from Amazon that I am very disappointed with. I feel every thing that was said that it would be, is not! It's really bad! I would not recommend it to any one. Thank you Elaine A. Dufresne

It's OK! Be wary of actual height!
It's OK! Nothing spectacular about it! The step is actually 8 and 3/4" tall and is advertized at 7" tall. That makes a big difference when I need to use it for a RV step. I bought it for me and our Cocker Spaniel. I have numbness issues in my legs due to Cancer and our Puppy needs it because the first step is sometimes to high on our RV depending on different camping pads. I wish the actual measurement was the true measurement! It is also a bit heavy in weight at 9.2lbs, so it is a bit clumsy to carry. The legs will tear up your patio mat if you do not put a think rug under it. Also, the edges of the legs are sharp so you have to be careful not to cut yourself. I weigh 115lbs and it rocks a little when I step on it. I guess I will keep it because I have to be able to get into our RV when we park at pads that require us to use our leveling blocks under the tires. It was an inexpensive fix so I got what I paid for. Before ordering be sure you can deal with it's downfalls!

Sturdy Yet Lightweight
I love the width and the traction on this step but my favorite feature is that the legs have a bar across the bottom making this ideal for outdoor use. Most steps just have four legs extending down without the bar. Those can sink into the ground when an adult steps onto them, especially larger adults such as myself. I also love how easy it is to move to where I need it to be, but a carrying handle on one side would be nice.

Sturdy and worth the money

Very sturdy - I'm a 235 lb 6'1" guy with bad knees so sturdy is important. We use it to climb in and out of our cargo trailer. Much easier on the knees. Stores easily as it folds flat.

A must for any RVer. I wonder how and why I went 2 summers without this! Very sturdy. Feels strong and secure. Doesn't move when installed. Not that it will leave a mark on hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete) as there are no rubber on the legs. But it makes for a strong setup.

A good solid step for when the RV steps are just to high to get in and out of the trailer, and you need that extra step, very solid construction

Quick Review: Seems like a great step. It's pretty heavy duty, collapses, and has non slip grip tape. I'm pretty sure it's going to easily outlast the RV and the next one too. We liked it so much that we bought another for our 6 x 12 trailer. Can't beat the price we paid on Amazon either. Very pleased. ***Edit 2 years later and 1 of them has failed. (leg completely bent the other way under pressure) Now in fairness it was subjected to some pretty good weights / use so I suspect most of the issue was caused from that. It was also a pretty decent drop to that step which put further pressure on the legs. The 2nd step works just like the day we bought it but is only used to help reach the higher stairs to our trailers bathroom door.
