Elite Strap with Battery

I made this purchase because the standard battery life for the Oculus Quest 2 is subpar. I felt like I couldn't have any extended gaming session without having to plug my headset in and stand near the charger - a completely unintuitive way to play. Installation was very simple. You just unsnap the old head strap from the sides of the Oculus and remove the strap from the loop on top. Additionally, the Elite head strap fits much better on my head and is easier to adjust, thanks to the dial on the rear that you can twist to make it fit perfectly. The extended battery life is great. I wish this was included with the Oculus straight out of the box, but since it isn't, this is the best purchase for those seeking added battery life and comfort.

This provides a major comfort upgrade and makes the base device much more usable for my kids, girls, and wife. It adapts to small head sizes and is much less likely to slide off with longer hair. It is much easier to play extended games, or switch off with the additional battery storage

If you are the proud owner (or otherwise) of the Quest II (possibly 3?) this is an accessory I view is mandatory to truly deliver on the promise of a Virtual Experience. That is, an experience uninterrupted by premature battery drains, uncomfortable default visor fit, unruly cables (if used) and a better fitting headset overall. This Strap w/battery really does make a difference when pondering whether or not to take out and use the Quest device. It just reduces the hassles of putting it on, adjusting it, etc. It becomes a more 2nd nature / muscle memory thing vs. recreating the wheel. Strongly recommended as a required accessory as much as a hand controller.

I bought this as part of a bundle when I purchased the Quest 2 and I'm glad I did. It does more than just provide extra time in the VR world it also provides a bit of counter balance to the headset itself. It's more comfortable than I thought it would be and it's easy to install. Definite Plus if you want extended time immersing yourself in the world of Virtual Reality. The ratcheting knob on the back makes it easy to adjust to you head size. The pics show it fully open, fully closed and the ratcheting knob on the back.

Batteries work well, didn’t have any issues with them to include setting up or having to adjust. Would recommend for sure as one of those “must haves” for longer play.

The Elite Strap with battery is a good option for most people. I've been using it for 2-years and there have been no mechanical or battery issues. It's well constructed, durable. Yet where this head strap unit fails some is in fitness games. I've used both the default face cover and a silicon cover designed for sports to help prevent slippage, yet as I perspire the unit starts to slide down my nose. So I crank the knob in the back tighter -- which tightens both front to back and side to side, which for my large head the side pressure is uncomfortably tight. I expect for most people the side to side tightening will not be an issue. If I loosen the strap some it's much more comfortable, yet loosening the unit is not effective when the game requires movement. And as many have noted, the price is very high.

The VR headset is a lot of fun but definitely requires the extra battery life to make it actually usable for most applications. And while it does add a little extra weight it provides a much needed counter balance so it’s more evenly distributed and significantly more comfortable.

This beautifully designed head strap adds an extra hour or more to your VR time, plus is very nicely balanced and comfortable. I prefer it to any of the several head straps I've used, seeking a stable and comfortable fit. Worth the extra bucks and ends the power cord tangling at your feet when use use the wifi link.

何気にQuest2の画面の中で本体とストラップ側のバッテリー残り残量まで確認できる。 さすが純正アダプタ。 サードパーティー製の外付けバッテリーでも画面から確認できるかは分かりませんが、 HMD外さなくても確認できるのはとても便利です。

Bought for my son who’s happy with it and thinks it really helps balance the Meta quest 3 on his head, making it much more comfortable.
