Surprisingly good quality
Great little tool, as per many other comments on here, it's a surprisingly well made tool at an exceptional price. For a home mechanic it's all you'll ever need (I mean how often do you really need to insert a star nut?).Only thing I'd mention is that there's no instructions, but it's really easy to figure out... the description in the advert doesn't actually work as it implies that you add the star nut after you've put the guide sleeve over the steerer tube... whereas you actually slide the guide sleeve over the spindle (with star nut attached)... But as I say, easy to figure out. Great value worked perfectly

It does what it's designed to do
Incredibly simple, makes a clean and straight star nut within the fork steerer in seconds of opening the packaging.Sometimes it just makes sense to buy the correct tool for the job rather than finding a bodge around it.

Great tool. Why pay 3 times the price of competitors
Like any tool of this kind it’s reliant on certain factors. As long as the steerer tube cut is clean and straight this will seat nice and even. Why pay triple the price.

makes the job so easy
All parts are well made. The parts fit the fork steerer tube really snug, no play. A new star nut is included. The star nut lines up with the steerer and is driven in square, perfect.
