These are awesome. Those who travel a lot (yeah, like me) and in some locations that aren't clean (yeah, VERY unclean) these keep dirt and other debris out of the ends of the cables. The price is a little high for what they are but nobody else makes a quality cap like this that is so easy to obtain. With that said - they are strong, attach in a nice looking and very strong manner, stay on (at least so far - only used about 8 weeks), easy to attach. These "holders" I have used to hold onto adapters to/from USB types as well as holding dust protectors for my CATA8 Cable. However, I have purchased the USB (Lightning/C - waiting for the USB A to sell in another color not so ... BRIGHT as yellow) and HDMI. The latter hasn't arrived yet. Ordered three times as they work for what they were wanted to do - protect my cables with caps I can remove without losing. My only other comment would be the shape on the "cap" version vs. the "lanyard". The shape is good for one hand removing BUT I personally would rather see small, tighter caps that don't have the little "finger" extension. MY other request - besides a reduction in price / more in package, I would LOVE a LARGER "lanyard" version. Currently I use the "Night Ize" cable ties in large which have a large, stretch head able to wrap around larger items I don't want to loose. This includes European adapters I attach to my American cords so I have them on hand there but don't have to find them every time I don't need to use them. these work BUT are heavier (when every ounce matters) and aren't as flexible as the Cozy version - though this "workaround" does work well for longer or shorter "leashes" on items. These work - expensive but they work and work very well!!! Need more models especially in different colors!! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! Set these up in a combat exercise - they worked perfectly. The ends of caps tend to get nasty and then you plug them in and transfer the mud and dirt into the other device. They worked!!!!

This is the perfect solution for you if you share your USB ports in the car. Instead of having to constantly switch your cables depending on who’s driving, just add this to an adapter and you’re set.

Function: Works well, as long as what you're trying to attach (e.g. USB-C adaptor) is narrow. If you have a bigger item like USB-C female to USB-A male adaptor, it wouldn't fit. Color: I personally really didn't care about the color - I didn't buy them for color and the only option that was available to receive in time for a trip was the glow-in-the-dark type. It's true, the original IRL colors are not exactly vivid (see photo #1). But they do glow in the dark if you do the right thing. When I was growing up I was told I should put these things under the sunlight to "recharge," so I was curious. It's raining outside so I put them by my Happy Light (the kind you use in fall/winter for SAD) for 1 hour, just out of curiosity, since some people were complaining. Photos #2 and #3 are taken in the same condition in the closed unlit bathroom, on the same counter as #1. Lo and behold, it glowed more after 1 hour of natural spectrum light. You can also use a UV flashlight to "charge" glow-in-the-dark items. Glad my childhood memory came in handy :)

I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.

Before magnetic connectors came along, I had to constantly plug and unplug the micro USB connector to my Android tablet and phone. This repetitive plugging/unplugging of the micro USB connector can cause wear and tear on the socket. I actually had the micro USB charging/data terminal break on my 7" Android tablet. The cost to replace the socket was almost as much as the tablet cost 3 years ago. Fortunately, along came these handy USB cables with a terminal that magnetically attaches to a small “plug” that is inserted into the micro USB socket of my devices. I bought these on Amazon last year: (ASIN B07D26SHZB). I have several devices that require a micro USB charging (or data) cable, but so far, I have only changed over two phones and a tablet to "magnetic" connector/cables. What if I want to charge my Bluetooth headphones or speaker (that don’t have the magnetic micro USB “plug” inserted? Solution: I bought some adapters (Amazon ASIN: B07HHWWD7Q ) that are about 1.2 inches long that convert the magnetic connector (terminal) to a standard micro USB terminal for those “non-magnetically” connected devices. Problem solved. Then I found these strong, handy, Cozy silicone lanyards/keepers to secure my adapters (so far I have 3) to all my USB magnetic connector cables. They’re easy to attach to your cable and the separate adapter, and quite snug, durable and affordable. Now no more issues with having to carry along a “regular” USB-to-micro USB cable for devices that aren’t outfitted with magnetic cable/connector systems. Brilliant idea, Cozy, and well-suited to my needs. Highly recommended!

The product description said 2 packages of 5 units. Received the Amazon envolope an hour ago, when I opened it there was only 1 package. The product itself is excellent.
