I bought this so we could lessen the amount of times we have to pay groomers to detangle our dog's hair. It works like a dream. Her hair becomes fluffy and knot free after a few easy minutes. I would buy this again and have recommended it to friends already. I've definitely saved money already by taking her to the groomer less. Good purchase.

Does what it said but takes a long time to get hairs out of the slot with tweezers it be best if can take clear top off it would make cleaning the blazes so much faster

I have a long coat German Shepherd. His fur by his rear is a bit more course than the rest of his fur. I bushing him daily and groom him quite often. This comb/brush really couldn’t get through his thick coat. I think it’s a great idea and fo felt though. I would say if you have a vet straight thin coat dog, this may help you. For my baby, it didn’t. I don’t want to knock the product just because it didn’t work on my own dog. I did unfortunately return it and got my money back. I have 5 cats that are all short coat, so I couldn’t use it on them. I think if you have a Yorkie, or ShihTzu, or something like that, it wohld work. Nothing will ever replace daily combing or brushing, but in the event you get a tangle, this may help. It may not. I personally wouldn’t recommend this for a thick coat or curly coat dog. If you have any “Doodle” type of dog too, I don’t think this would help. This is my opinion on it.

Based on other reviews, I had high hopes for using this product on my 17 year old Maine Coon cat who has stopped grooming himself and become badly matted. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to get through the matts at all. I spent about a half an hour trying to get rid of just one, but couldn't manage it. It can be dangerous to use scissors on cats, so I was really hoping this would work out. On the positive side, my cat seems to enjoy just being combed with it. The vibration and noise are soft, so he purrs through it and it does remove a bit of hair, but no matts. It also makes my hand hurt after awhile because you have to hold the button down to keep it on. Also, the charge seems to run out quite quickly. I don't believe it does what it says it does, so I'm planning on sending it back.

I really wanted this brush to work but the design is really poor. It's impossible to constantly pull the hair out with the little tweezers they give you & if you have a dog with long hair like I do (I have two havanese) then there hair wraps around the machine & it starts to smell like it's burning. I kept pulling hair out but you can't get all those fine pieces the little window opening is too tiny & there's no way to take the cover off to clean it thoroughly which is ridiculous! I think there really needs to be a way to clean it easier otherwise it's junk.
