Drawing the Line: The Early Work of Agnes Martin

This is an excellent prelude to the grids that made her part of art history. Not a good first book on Agnes Martin but as I have four others already, this adds to the story with a lot of personal information about her whole life in the studio and going out to eat for dinner. I have a much clearer of the painter as well as the paintings.
