DO NOT LET A KNIFE SHARPENER NEAR YOUR RAZOR. I do not let knife sharpeners sharpen my knives. All I have seen use a sanding belt. There is a danger of burning the blade. Learn to do it yourself. It's not hard to do. I started shaving with a straight razor when I was 15 Get a hone, a leather/canvas strop, or leather only and watch some videos. I would prefer to get the razor un-sharpened, then I can put my own edge on it.

Why are the customer pictures not the same as the display pictures?

The one i bought for my brother looked just like the display pictures

Does the razor itself contain any nickel?

They don't specify the steel (only "japanese steel with hardness up to 65, up to 65 is a huge range") but with 99% of "stainless steel" they will contain a small amount of nickel
