Smells great!!
Smells so good! I buy a ton of candles from different places, and this one smells really good. It burns slow and it’s very relaxing.

Smells great, looks great, long lasting
I love this scent, really smells great in my cigar lounge. This is my second one. Lasts a long time. The wooden wick is easy to light and a cool touch. Nice matte finish glass and nice salad wood lid. I will keep getting these.

Not much throw on the scent
Large candle but doesn't give off much of a scent unless very close. Nice frosted jar with lid for decor.

Winter's Edge sooty
I got two versions of this candle, Dark Forest and Winter's Edge. Both have burned for many hours and the crackling of the wood wick is exactly what I was looking for.But for some reason, Winter's Edge gives off a lot of soot. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. The inside of the container has become black after just a couple of burnings. And after a few hours burning it I was blowing my noise and the tissues were black for a long time.Thankfully Dark Forest can still be used in the house. But at this point Winter's Edge will have to be regulated to outdoor use only.

Manly Indulgence: Woodland Escape
So I bought three different brands of candles with similar scents, and of comparable size, to compare them. Mostly I was concerned with their scent potency. Taking off the lid and just smelling them without burning them, they all smelled fantastic. After burning each one separately, I have them ranked here based on how strongly scented they were in my small one-bedroom apartment:1) Nature's Wick: Forest PineStrongest scent, could smell it in every room when it was placed in the central part of my apartment. Comes in a clear thick glass jar, with a wooden lid and a wooden wick that crackles when you burn it. The flame stays small.2) The Mandle: Mountain ManSecond strongest in terms of scent, it filled most of my apartment. Comes in a real metal paint can, you have to use a metal washer to open it. The wick is cotten, burns as you'd expect.3) Manly Indulgence: Woodland EscapeThird place in terms of scent strength. Comes in a dark blue frosted glass jar with a wooden lid, has a wooden wick that crackles when you burn it. The scent lingered mostly in the one room where I burned it, couldn't smell it elsewhere in my apartment. As you may have assumed, I like the smell of the woods, particularly conifer trees. All three of these candles smell amazing.I grew up in rural Missouri and developed an affinity for cedar. Through my vacation and camping trips to Colorado, northwest Wyoming, and northwest Montana, I've expanded that affinity into pretty much all conifer trees. I even wear cologne derived from these types of trees. My mom used to make candles when I was younger, so I grew up around candles and have a pretty solid understanding and high expectation for their performance. I know that not every batch made is exactly the same. Also the age of the candle affects their scent strength too, as it fades over time due to the scented oil naturally evaporating. A tight lid helps with preventing this.I don't know when each of these candles were poured, so I can't say every candle of the above listed brands and scents will always be ranked this way. For example, if I bought another "Manly Indulgence: Woodland Escape" it may be quite potent and end up at the top of my list. That's just the nature of candle making. It's like baking a cake, you can try but it won't always be exactly the same each time you pull it out of the oven. But based on buying one of each for the first time and burning each of them, this was my impression. Hope it helps!Update 07/10/22: Bought 3 More Manly Indulgence Candles Recently - Very Disappointed!I purchased these scents:1) Dark Forest2) Vintage Oak3) Tea TreeI purchased these after having some success with the Woodland Escape as addressed above in my previous review. However, it seems something has changed with this candle company's production, all three of the above new Manly Undulgence brand candles are duds, none of them have any scent at all and I'm very disappointed. I've changed my 4 star review of this candle brand to 1 star, not sure they deserve that much. The wicks smoke a lot and tend to emit burning embers into the air, which is a bit scary. I don't remember this happening the first time I bought one. I had high hopes for these, but will not buy again.

Strong Clean Scent
This smells clean and natural. I don't like that chemical smell of candles or air fresheners made by big name, commercial brands. This candle smells like a pine forest, outdoorsy. Nothing fruity or chemical about it. But beware; it's intense. And that's actually a good thing because a single $20 candle can travel throughout a good-sized room. What I really miss is the Illuminations store from decades ago. This reminded me of that.I bought two of these -- one for home, one for work. My coworker said he has a different scent from the same company. It must be a good company... but beware the Fresh Scent candle. I ordered two and they arrived used, with burnt wicks. BOTH of the Fresh Scents. Plus, the Fresh Scents did not smell good at all. Stick with this Woodland Escape if you like a pine type of aroma. Kind of like Christmas, but not exactly. It's a sort of Christmas that would be acceptable year round. The blue glass is just super handsome, especially when the candle is lit. The lid appears to be wood and is a nice touch. But my favorite part is the wick-- it is a real sliver of wood, not a thread wick. So frickin' cool.
