Drill pump heavy duty for oil and fluids suitable for all drills TE472

I have used this to transfer used coolant from my drain container to the storage tank. I’ve used this same pump to transfer diesel fuel. Used different lines and “flushed the pump”. Also bought strainer screens that fit in a half inch line that work well for keeping garbage out of it. Good pump so far. Have pumped 50 gallons of coolant and 70 gallons of diesel fuel roughly with this pump. Works good for emptying diesel fuel tanks for service.

Did not even last through the first use. Worked for about 5 minutes and then I noticed the liquid wasn’t flowing through the tube anymore ( clear tube). Next I saw the tube fill with smoke. And that was “all she wrote” as they say.

It works OK, but It started leaking fuel at the shaft after pumping two gallons of fuel. I would expect as much of all the stuff made in China.

Pretty good little pump!! I transferred about 40 gallons of off road diesel over several times with this drill pump. Then last weekend I used the crap out of this thing while cutting 2 drive shafts on a damaged skid steer. I had a setup where I pumped diesel fuel across a Sawzall carbide blade while cutting 2 hardened drive shafts. I had a Milwaukee and Dewalt drill overheat and shut off after 2-3 minutes of constant use. It took about 4-5 hours of on/ off duty to cut these damn shafts. Pump never missed a beat. The drills and batteries overheated after 2-3 minutes (at 85F in the sun). The pump never missed a beat. I'm buying another one for moving clean fuel versus the 1st pump which I fear is probably contaminated with metal and junk from my cutting job. Definitely buy this!!!

Works alright, sometimes it can’t pickup the liquid but if you keep running it it’ll work. Pumps kinda slow and leaks at the shaft seal

Very handy for differential/transfer case fluid changes. People complaining here bought the wrong item. This isn't meant for moving gallons of gas or water. Works perfectly for moving a few quarts of oil. It seems cheaply constructed so don't think it'll hold up to the rest of time but even if I get 100 uses out of it. Well worth it in place of hand pumping underneath a car for 10 minutes.

Got product for multi use. Removal of hydronic oil (over filling tractor), generator oil etc. So far has worked very well on hydronic fluid, plenty of suction both directions.

Pros - Amazon delivered as indicated Cons - everything about this pump is junk. Look all pretty but does not work no matter how many ways you try to get it to work. I was attempting to us it as a gasoline transfer pump. Waisted my Money. Would sent it back to Amazon for refund but I got so mad at the junk, that I put a hammer to it up at my property when I tried to use it to transfer gas to my generator. THE END

Bought this to remove water from toilets that we remove for work. After shutting off the water to the toilet and you flush, there was always a bit of water that would leak when your removed the toilet from the floor seal. This pump works great for removing the excess water! Works well and I've used it a half dozen times and fits in any 3/8 drill. Just have to remember to hold the pump while you spin the drill. I would buy again.

My first impression was that this pump is too small to be any good, but I was wrong. It worked perfectly and didn't leak a drop from its seals. I needed to transfer ~500L of heating oil from various containers into drums, so I bought this TE472 drill pump, some half-inch rubber hose, and a pack of hose clamps. I fastened the last two feet of the intake hose onto a metal pole so that I could easily control where it goes (e.g. to the bottom of the source container), and I started pumping. At first I tried using my cordless drill, but it didn't spin fast enough. It initially moved some oil (slowly), but after I stopped to change batteries, the pump wouldn't even prime itself. I switched to a corded drill, which apparently spins much faster, and this pump worked great. Once I used a faster drill, the flow rate was somewhere just above 12L per minute, as I transferred 200L of oil in around 15.5 minutes. Overall I used this for just over 500L with no issues. I would highly recommend this pump for a project like this one.
