The item itself has a hard plastic covering. The side opposite of the hinge has a magnetic close allowing the case to stay closed during transport. The art and paint is top notch. The interior of case has a material that allows the games to fit snuggly via a friction fit and protects the games from the shock of a drop when the case is dropped. These games are expensive, and the price of this item, for what it does (organization, protection, aesthetics, self expression, etc.) , is absolutely justifiable.

This cart case hold 24 games, and 24 micro sd cards if you so desire, it fits nicely in the zipper pouch in my switch case, and still leaves room for a charge cable and battery bank, I have both physical and digital Switch games, i'm sitting at around 160 games, most of them are digital of course. but my switch case only held 20 physical games, and this held 24 and combined i can carry 44 physical games with me at all times, which i am at 30.... lol so i have 14 more slots to fill. it is held closed by magnets which are strong enough to keep it closed on a drop or toss, so if you are in a market for a high capacity switch cart holder, this is the one for you, there is another one that can hold 48 games, kinda wish spent a bit more and got that one, because i love my switch

I didn't know what to expect with this but since Zelda is one of my favorite game series I bought this and all I can say is that I am impressed. The case holds up to 24 games, and an additional 24 micro SD memory cards. I honestly didn't know it was magnetic when I got it however that was welcome suprise, finally the graphics looked clean and well done and the liner was nice. I like to take good care of my items and I honesty felt that it is secure in this case. One thing I forgot to mention was that this case also can fit in thenetting portion of the case for my switch and still close fine (can't speak for all cases just the basic red one that I have. I hope this helps anyone who wants to know more about this product

Overall, I am pleased with this case. I wanted a travel case that wasn't too bulky, would keep my switch games secure and look cool. This case delivered on all those fronts. I had a previous case that was way to big for the amount of games it held. You couldn't read the titles because the games slid in to a pocket. They were hard to take in and out and I ultimately threw it in the garbage. I stumbled on this case browsing Amazon and took a chance based on reviews. I'm glad I did because I love the Zelda them and the size or the case. I like the silicon trays that the games go in and they are easy to get out. Definitely a good purchase!

Got this for about $10, but have to say it is feels like a very study case. The strength of the magnet for holding the case closed feels just right, to the point I would feel comfortable travelling with it yet not dreading a cumbersome challenge of trying to open it without spurting out cartridges every time I want to take out a game. One grief I have with it is that there appears to be scuff marks on it from, perhaps, the printing of the design on the case. Considering what I paid for it and the purpose of the case, I am not really bugged by this.

The graphics on the case are pretty solid but a little bit raised. If you're going to throw it in a bag I would at least make sure it's not getting thrashed too hard for fear of ruining this excellent design. Games stay in real nice and there's a satisfying resistance when taking them out. The card slots are JUST the right size to hold all your back up and cards. All in all an excellent case.
