If you want to protect your car from rust, get this product.
I have high hopes for this protection spray. It creates a waxy like seal that doesn't drip like most do but will spread out if some gets dinged. Lanolin has been shown to work well for rust protection and this little can does a lot with one can covering about 1/3 of my truck underbody. Testing on my lawn mower too to see how it holds up. This can doesnt fit into all the small areas it needs such as inner body panels. It would be great to find a wand to get this product into those spots. Oh and if you spray your exhaust or catalytic converter, it will smell nasty for a while. This will collect dust and be ugly looking after a bit but the coating is doing its job by making a impermeable barrier to moisture. It just won't be pretty but who is looking at your undercarriage?

Keeps underside like new
Perfect for rust prevention here in Ohio, keeps my vehicles looking like new. I prefer it to the other name brands as it is thicker and seems to stick and last longer. Cans are nice, can't really comment other than they work exactly as designed. I do not believe there is a better product out there.

If you're in the Salt Belt, Use LANOLIN under coatings!
Way less stinky than fluid film and a little more durable. The can design pretty much requires an aftermarket spray nozzle for precise application. As far as the lanolin contents, I rate it about the same as woolwax. Speaking generally about any of the lanolin undercoatings, I've used them since I brought my vehicles up from the Sun Belt to the Salt Belt well over a decade ago and they've done a fantastic job at preventing rust and stuck fasteners. After an annual inspection my mechanic finally asked what the heck I was putting on my 20 yrs old Toyotas because there was NO RUST (except for the exhaust, of course). It does get a little messy working under cars coated with this, but much better than getting rust dust and scale dumped on top of you. I do a thorough application every other year (even inside doors, rockers, fenders, ect..) and then quick touch ups the year between that with a focus on the leading edges of suspension parts/subframes. Tip: Use garden hose pressure to rinse off salt underneath your car, NOT the high pressure undercarriage wash. (Pardon the Rant)...This stuff works so well that any states or municipalities who apply salt/brine to the roads should encourage, if not subsidize, lanolin undercoatings for citizens residing in those regions (they spend money on much dumber stuff)... After seeing all the "for parts" rust heaps on Market Place that are the same vintage as my rides I can't imagine how much money and material could be saved.

Put newspapers down in the area you spray. The spray will fall to the floor and make a mess.
This stuff works. Check it out on YouTube.

Good experience from the past led me to disaster on this order
First pf all, I have had good luck with this product over the past few years so when I bought a vehicle to use in snow country naturally I ordered some more - a whole six pack. Well this batch was bad, not the product itself but the fact that only 3-5% of the product would come out of the can before it completely clogged up. This was during warm mid-summer. Tried this on all six cans, with fails each time. Strike one. I tried to return it for a refund, and was told no returns of this item (no warning of the no-refund policy in advance of buying), so strike two. I was told to communicate directly with the manufacturer who told me to remove the spray cap and reseat it. Fail on all six cans. Then shortly thereafter the vendor closed the conversation thread, as if the problem had been solved. Strike three. What a disaster! IMO this product is not worth buying, based on my disappointments.

Excellent adhesion with very minimum drips
Did a very thorough undercoating job on 2007 Sierra 1500 Classic. Used these 6 bottles and will require 2 more. Have used Fluid Film before and this seems just as good but doesn't smell as bad. Love the lanolin based protectants.

Adhérence decevante
Bon prix mais ne semble pas coller sur la rouille je dois constemment en appliquer pour les coins rouillés. Sinon protège bien je suppose.

cans of product are good, the posting is low on a few essential details
The cans and the product are decent. The posting is lacking. The cans have male tops (the caps have the straw that feed into the can). So if you're going to get one of those spray tubes to get into the frame, make sure the caps have the little straw/feeder that will go down into the can or they won't work. Also, in the "other people also purchased" section amazon recommended a spray can holder with a spray trigger. Makes it easier to spray 6 cans in a row. However, the product didn't fit the cans and broke. Got it to eventually work, but the unit is broken. So overall, the cans or surface shield come as advertised, but assuming you're also looking to pick up a few extra pieces to make undercoating your vehicle easier/better, the posting itself could benefit from a few additional details.
