Graduation Gift
Bought as a HS graduation gift. We put (5) $20 bills at each chapter section. Thought it would be a good delivery method for giving a graduate cash, instead of just putting money in a card.

Great as a gift to a granddaughter
There is another book that also helps children in their teen years to recognize that to be truly independent as an adult you must start sooner than later to handle money for your own needs. You start where you are to pay for clothing, other necessities and gifts. You learn to save 10%, give 10%, and surprise give to Caesar.

Found my new book to give to every graduate!
Absolutely loved this book I picked up for my college age daughter!I enjoyed reading it and love the conversations we have been having with it. We have so much emotion around money and it’s clear to me our money beliefs drive our own self worth, how we spend, invest and more. Thank you Jean Chatzky & Kathyn Tuggle and the Her Money Team!

Lovely book that I deeply enjoyed
It wasn't available at the age at which I would have gotten the most use out of it - age 17. I think that there's tons of solid and accessible advice available inside, and I was happy to see Tiffany Aliche and Ilhan Omar chime in.

An essential gift for the young people on your list!
I've purchased a few copies of this book for young friends, including a niece who just graduated high school. It's filled with tremendously valuable, easily digestible information and advice. I sincerely wish I'd been given a book like this when I was a teen or young adult.

Decent Intro to Personal Finance Book
I am not the target demographic for this book (which seems to be teenage girls), so take my review as a grain of salt...While I found the book to be a very quick read, I also found it to be very general and not particularly groundbreaking. The information in this book is the same thing you can find on any finance blog with the exception of their personal interviews at the end of each chapter.I found the definitions of finance terms like credit, debit, APR & deductible in the middle of the page to be distracting, but maybe a teen would be interested in that format.Overall it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't read it again or recommend it to friends or family.

FOR MOM & TEENS
Although written from an American financial stand point, the lessons stand for Canadians as well. Easy read. Quirky. Intensely informative. I am almost done reading it and my oldest wants to read it next. Teaches all the things for those of us who weren't taught how to manage our money.

They should teach this in school
This is everything about money that they should have taught you when you were young but did not. One of the best things about the book is that the pages are colour-coded so you never lose your place. The chapters are all really short and have tons of lists, charts, graphics, and bullet points — so it's really easy to read. Give this book to a teenager. They will thank you (perhaps in the following decade!)
