We have a south facing house which gets super hot and we had little shade. (1st world issues I know 😉) So we bought a 6m x 4m canopy as the weather was so lovely the children wouldn't go outside due to the heat.My husband put it up with a little help from our neighbour with ease.It works for us and I would recommend for sure.I took longer to arrive than expected and doesn't come with all the kit to put it up that is bought was separately which is my reason for 4 stars not 5.Otherwise we are extremely happy with this purchase.

I don’t use this as a sun shade, but bought it as my neighbour has a very large and messy tree which hangs over our decking area. I use this to keep much of the fallen leaves and small twigs from littering my decking area.It’s strapped to the frame of the pergola. Works pretty well

Nothing to dislike as it's a great product for the price. Would have liked it to have been waterproof but, as the seller says it's only ’weatherproof’. Don't forget the shade does not come with the fixing hooks and eyes. It does comes with some rope which I replaced with a thicker and more durable type (from B&Q).

Great product. Firstly it’s grey, so it doesn’t easily show up all the grime and pigeon 💩 like my old white one, plus you can easily blast it with the hosepipe. Secondly as it’s more woven than a tarp-style sheet, it lets some rainwater through and doesn’t sag or burst (which is exactly what happened to my old one after a year or two).

I didn't realise that it wasn't water tight, I was hoping for a rain shade as much as a sun shade but rain just comes straight through. Well made and strong so I can imagine it will last a long time.

Quality seems good from first 2 days use. Stainless D rings welded and smooth. Stitched seams look solid all the lengths, main gripe is the size. Wanted something 3x4x5m but couldn’t find one with suitable delivery times. This said 3.5x3.5x4.9m which seemed close enough. When fully tensioned it measures 3x3x4.2m (see photos). Probably keep as it casts an ok shadow but needed climbing rope to extend the ends to reach the walls for mounting.

Item is exactly as described, I use it indoors in my conservatory to take the edge off the sun glare, it gives a nice glow to the furniture when the sun is overhead.
